Morning boys.  Slept late and it felt great.  Cooper usually joins me.   Now we are having coffee.   :happy1: I need to go to town to get some groceries and mail a bill.  We have some spots of dirt and brown grass showing and they even got a little muddy yesterday.  We are headed in the right direction.  I repacked the trails to our campfire rings so hopefully we can have a fire soon.  Boiled spuds yesterday so the potato salad will happen today.  Looking forward to it.  That and burgers for supper.  I may do some beef ribs this weekend.  That will go good with potato salad.  Have a good TGIF all of youse.

Mornin' comrades! 22 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-40's. Nothing major on tap for the forenoon other than communicating the minutes of the car club meeting to the 81 year old club secretary. Could be a while. Had to write up an emergency letter of recommendation for the neighbor kid last nite after I got home from the meeting. Not the first time something like this has happened over the years. I need to jack someone up at the school. Not amused. Will need to go into the office later this a.m. to do a few things. Our cutworm & armyworm pheromone traps will be delivered by my old buddy the Boy Entomologist. Might have to have a couple belts while we're at it.

Morning boys.  33 now.  It sat at 39 all afternoon yesterday and was really nice.  The farmer across the road had about a 10 acre woods taken out by loggers and there is some nice birch and popple tops there in small piles that she said I could have.  May go start getting that today if it isn't too muddy.  Or I will wait till Tue or Wed when it will be a little colder.  Had a buddy stop over yesterday so had a good time looking at my stuff.  LOL  He has some Allis tractors too so we like to talk about them.  No big plans today if it gets too warm.

Picked up a bumch of stuff at menards yesterday. Knobs for cabinets, closet pole, ect. Put some 1/4" OSB on the back of them too. Now I need to clean out the existing cabinet and move these two in its place. Doesn't look like we're snowmobiling today, that's OK. My may have to put up a few more sheets of sheeting in the garage then. See what the day brings. Later... :happy1: :happy1:

As I get older it seems it is much easier to get out of shape than it is to get back in shape.  Thank goodness I burn wood in the garage.  One of the reasons is to give me some exercise.

Good evening comrades! 31 at choretime topping out in the mid-40's this afternoon. Got my feed run in this morning then it was Agrotourism Day ar the ranch. My niece's two daughters & my brother & his wife visited from the TC. Poppy was the beneficiary of much playing and attention from two single digit aged girls. They ran up & back on the row of round bales & got to hold a lamb briefly until its mother had a comeapart. We had lunch at The Willows which worked out well. The girls were well behaved & polite, catching the attention of the waitress who complimented them on it. After the crew departed, I did my glenn impression & nodded off. Night chores are done & thru one period of Gopher hockey, up 1-0.

Shiner Bock. Pretty good beer. I agree with your statement, Mark, except I’d say a Shiner, or two.

The Gophers are looking lazy and not as sharp like the 1st period.  Better turn it around or it'll be a long ride home.

Morning boys.  Just went up to 10 here.  High of 34 for the day.  Actually nice to have it freeze to stiffen up the mud.  May get another load of wood this morning due to that.  Don't want to overdo it though.  I have my meeting to check me out for my cataract surgeries tomorrow morning.  Will be great to get it done with.  Have a great day.

Morning boys. 15 here now. Snuck out to the fish house this morning to give it a try. Pretty slow fishing so far. Snowmobiling was great yesterday. Weather was nice trails were great except for a couple spots in the open. The wife and I rode down to Waskish and back. We ate supper at West Winds. It was a good day. Well, have a good one boys.
