Headed to Osakis to pay our gun bill from last Friday. Gun Bingo was a hit. After that drop off a couple of donor gifts and we should be able to put a wrap on it for this year. Number two son is coming by to get his snowmobile and put it in storage North of Miltona. More room for me. If there's anyone close by me, Alexandria, and need some food plot seed I have 14 bags of Roundup ready beans left over for $15.00 a bag. This has to be used for food plots and can not be harvested. Send me a pm. Have a great day all, later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' comrades! 31 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-50's. Some fieldwork activity yesterday west of Bugtussle. Not sure there should've been but time will tell. Will be more planting today as a result. These clay loam soils are not very forgiving when worked too wet sometimes especially compared to the loess soils in SE MN & the sand plains. Wife has company coming from Massachusetts later this afternoon. Will need to help get the house cleaned up altho I did a bunch after chores before I left for town. I get to grill tonite so I should be able to get my quinine water/malaria therapy in. Been lucky so far. Slipping lately in that dept. lately so need to get caught up.  :happy1:

Brother and I are headed somewhere by Brainerd to drop off his new pup for dog training school. AShould be a good to get caught talking with each other instead of text messages. Got to get to fleet before that to pick up some supplies for tomorrow's smoking venison event. Thinking we are going to spin up about 85 pounds of brats. Be interesting how lakes will be open on the trip. More coffee, later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys.  It is foggy here with lots of puddles around the place.  I wondered how much rain we got.  Have to get the rain gauge out today.  To wet to do the things I wanted to do so need another plan.  Thought about getting the camper out today but may have to wait till tomorrow now.  There are two squirrels in and out of the feeder so Cooper and Buddy are all excited.  The feeder is about 12' from the window.  Cooper will sit and watch them as long as they are here. Man my new eye is great! The first one was clear as a bell right away but it was itchy for about 3 days.  The second one is a little cloudy but absolutely no pain or itching at all.  I can see better than I have for years.  Have a good one boys.

The new eye will clear up quickly.  It is like things are more 3D with the better depth perception. Just waiting for my new Costas to show up.  I got readers too.   :sleazy:

Mornin' comrades! 41 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 60's. Some light sprinkles moving thru the area. Unlikely it will hinder planting progress down for those who worked ground yesterday. In other news, we finished lambing! (and the crowd goes wild! :cheerleader: ) Worked out that the little tyke was on the ground right at choretime last night. No muss, no fuss & he was working his mom over this morning. On tap for tonite is another car club event. Hopefully the older crowd doesn't get too rambunctious.

The story said they decided to keep it and mount it
Morning boys, 33 here and heading for 46 today. We will need to go grocery shopping after work today. Will also need to stop and get some more sunflower seed. The 6-8 grackles we had multiplied to about 200 yesterday.  :angry2:  I put the last of the seed I had in the feeder last Sunday. We are planning to head down to little falls tomorrow for the Reeds gun fair. Never been there before, so that should be interesting. Otherwise just getting ready for the final day of the week in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Mornin guys, back north of the border & we have 41 while on our way to 52. We left home around 12:30 & rolled down the drive here ~ 8:30. We hit some rain in the metro & then hit some pretty dense fog near the Milaca rest area on 169. Quite a bit of water in the ditches starting just north of that too but it was even worst along the Mississippi from Aitkin north to DR. Bout it here, have a good day.
