Mornin'! After a brief hiatus, can report we got the fruit trees pruned, the last of the lambs moved to the main barn and the black cutworm trap operational once again. The best thing is the rhubarb is starting to get rolling. Looks like it may be spring after all.

Good morning.  The dentist visit went well as usual.  Very nice people there.  Then we stopped for lunch at the American Legion in Warroad.  I have heard they have great food there.  Well I had the best bacon burger that I have had in a long time.  It was a thick juicy burger and it was not over done.  So many times lately burgers I have ordered come almost like leather.  They have lots of sandwichs steaks, seafood, etc.  They open at 11.  It is worth the stop.   Went down and chopped some ice around the dock trying to speed up spring.  Ice is still surrounding my dock so I can't get a boat to it yet.  The weekend is getting close.....

Hey all, 31 here to start our day. We had a 1/2 dead tree along the driveway that looked like it was going to cause a problem not too far down the line, so it came down yesterday. Need some milk, bread, & a few other things so heading into GR a little later. Enjoy your day

Morning all. 31 here also. So who do you go see LPS, Faulk? that is the dentist we go to. Our appointment should be coming up soon. Funny, I have yet to go to the legion here in Warroad. Always here good things about them. Here there prime rib is awesome. Not much else happening here. Like Barry said the weekend is almost here. I am planning to fish this weekend, ice fish that is. have a good one.

Was turdy six dis a.m. here with rain. Got .6" in Bugtussle and .47" at the ranch overnight. Hope the cool temps don't hurt the banana crop.

Rain...Rain...Go away! It's endless. Went out on recon mission in da rain. Wanted to check if da crawlers were out even dough da peak is in May. Tons of crawlers were everywhere wit da continuous nonstop rain. Unfortunately you could thread dem through da eye of a needle (to small). I just can't seem to sit down and start my taxes. I hate it!  Fur me da hardest part is getting started. I am just a procrastinator wit stuff I don't like ta do. Sometimes I wish I could just kick myself in da but, I can't stand on one leg any more or me faw down.

Morning all.  TGIF.  Going to get my little 14' boat going today.  Has a 4.5 merc that I just love.  It can troll so slow that you can actually see the prop turning slowly.  lol  My side of the river is in the shade so still have lots of shore ice so I can push this boat over the ice.  Should be fun.

TGIF also! Planning to get my last weekend of ice  in this weekend. Thinking of heading out after work tonight. Took the wheeler out there and had a looksy last night. the shore line is starting to take a beating. Starting to see some open holes over the sand bars now. think I will be taking the snowmobile out instead of the wheeler. Well, one more day in the salt mine. have a good one boys.

Morning guys, we've got 30 now. We seen 8 people who looked like they had the same thing in mind, LPS, yesterday as they were pulling boats & heading north. Must've been going up to check out your neighborhood. Also seen 2 or 3 that appeared to have ice fishing in mind as they were pullin wheelers. i think there's some more chainsaw work on tap today. Wind is supposed to shift to the north & be a little cooler with a slight chance of some precip tomorrow. Not much else happening here, have a good 1
