Tonite guys!!! Should be able to see Jupiter's moons with binocs...

http://www.nbcnews.com/mach/space/watch-jupiter-shine-brighter-any-other-time-year-n743366

No special equipment is needed to enjoy this Jovian close-up, a phenomenon astronomers call Jupiter "at opposition" because the planet and the sun are on opposite sides of Earth. But if you have binoculars, it should be possible to see the massive planet and also its four largest moons: Callisto, Europa, Ganymede, and Io. With even a basic telescope, you should be able to make out Jupiter's Great Red Spot, a vast storm that's roughly twice the size of Earth.

Bobby and Rebs, I feel for both of you.  I really do.  I am so grateful for my fairly good health.  I am not very religious but am very spiritual so pray for good health and happiness each night.  I will say one for each of you two tonight.  Carry on you two.   I turned the floating dock out after work and have the Lund in the garage.  I am buying an automatic bilge pump for it and installing it tomorrow.  That way if I am not here after a big rain it will turn on and pump out.  It will be in the water tomorrow and I can't wait for a boat ride.  Great time of year.  Got some pork chops spiced and ready to put on the new infrared grill.  Think I will have a martini......    sleazy-422.gif

I wish I could still drink. $#@! (Makes me break out for some reason...)  I shoulda asked for the oxy prescrip. Got some Flexeril muscle relaxants though.. use them for back spasms.  They get me really mellow. I like 'em.  ;)
You fantasized about having legs like that, didn'tcha?

On second thought, could ya swing over to KRPR, and pick up Shari Renae for me, and bring her over? I need her to spin some tunes for me...

Man reb that looks bad. Try soaking in a tub full of Epsom salts that might help a little. Morning all, you have  got to love the 2:30am phone calls, I'm sick I don't think I can come to work today, thanks, bye  :bs: :bs:. So it looks like I'm working today and probably tomorrow. Have fun coffee, gee wiz Reb the nl really took you for a ride this time! I agree try the Epsom salt. Morning all, 44 now and heading towards 80 this afternoon, gonna go soon on our 2 mile walk.  If the front yard is dry then some dethatching,  seeding and fertilizer will be done today. I'll probably even bring out all the tomatoes and pepper plants for some fresh air and light later. Well nature is calling,  SEE YA!!

Got some grass seed yesterday at fleet farm, so going to sprinkle some around and rake it in a little in the bare spots that seem to have appeared over the winter.  Maybe some of the weeds actually died as a result of my ministrations last fall.

Just might put the muffs on it & fire her up today. Finished my project on our lift, so that's ready to go too. :happy1: Man Reb, that looks nasty, bet it hurts like  :mad1:. *Ak*OW*  Morning kids. 47* and heading for mid 70's  and sunny here at the House of Misery. Had my buddy who owns a lawn service come over yday, and raked entire yard, fertilized, overseeded, and filled in two depressions in back yard from tree roots rotting away, (trees came down 13 years ago). Reset a sinking old stone bench on patio blocks for footings, so now I can sit on it again. Was tilted at about a 30* angle. Weighs around 450 lbs. Also hung a new 48" wide chain link fence gate and put in new poles. Took out 36" gate because way too tight a fit to drive rider mower thru. He used to own a fence company, the guy really knows what he's doing. Even carried all my deck furniture and grills from the garage back up to the deck. Del ya need any good yard stuff done, lemme know. I'll PM ya his number. Mown & Grown is his company. Been buddies since 1981. He used to be the plant/outdoor garden mgr for Shopko . Looks like the day is take it easy and heal, with time out for some grilled chicky and tato salad. Gotta love that first day with my "real" grill on deck, sittin' in the comfy chairs in the sun....must be gettin' old.  Have a good one guys.  :cheesy:

Morning all.  Windy as heck here.  Darn that can really change the day.  I want to clean bird houses today.  My brother at Ottertail saw Tree Swallows the other day.  They are our favorites.  Have two houses for them by the house.  Found out that bluebird houses aren't big enough for them.  Half of the babies die due to over crowding in them.  We always found dead dried up babies in them.  I made two bigger houses just for them now.  We started with Martins last year too.  Hope we get some back again.  Had about 4 of them here for awhile last year.   Man Rebs that looks sore.  Should have opted for the Oxi's.  Is that an injury or just happens?  You may need a cocktail or two for that condition.  lol  Hope it gets better soon...

Now for the "reb should be thankful" post.  My buddy fell on the ice in his driveway, cracked his pelvis,  and had to spend 6 weeks at Rehab center.    Ended up at Golden West.   He got to pick 3 choices out of list of 4.  Got his 4th choice.....

Sorry about yer friend, Del. Golden West...that's where you go to die. Both my aunt and uncle did out there the other year, six months apart.
Barry, it all happened in a second.... I got my foot impaled on a rake while taking a step, lost balance and crashed like a fallen tree onto the street pavement. Leg stayed back on rake, tearing hamstring and a few other things up. Found out my leg wasn't stretchable like Gumby's.  face_plant-2139.gif

My buddy recovered and is back home in Janesville.   But yeah, didn't look like too great a place.   And the wifi was broken, and the other guy in the room had the remote for the TV.  Fox News all night long, all night long.

I brought him an eye shade and some ear plugs.

Morning all,44 here. Not a official ice out yet, as there's a couple points on the south shore  that a bit of ice is hanging on. Seen a pic of a boat out on the main lake yesterday & 1 of the neighbors had their paddle boat out on the bay. Awful windy here yday too, looks like it's went to the north today so a little cooler I imagine. We had 68 here. A little more yard work, some more messin with the boat today, hope you all enjoy your day

58* and sunny here. headin' for 70* again. Another take it easy and heal up day for me. Looks like double cheese burglars with all the toppings on the grill tonite, with some bacon cheddar mac salad and other assorted goodies. Sure is nice looking at that everything- is -done lawn. I'm actually gonna have to get out the mow lawner, as boober says, and do the front next week...!! Thick, green and growing like crazy. Take that, brown lawn neighbors. It's a Reb-o-riffic yard. ;)
Have a good day, guys.

Sounds like me Boar.  Had a few too many last night and the chicken on the smomer didn't get brown.  Imagine that...  I ate it anyway but the wife declined....    :rotflmao: :happy1:  I am going to put it on the new IR grill today and give it another go.  Maybe I will drench it with BBQ sauce.  That makes everything taste good.  Man is it windy here today.  46 but feels colder.  Wind is out of the north.  Yesterday I got the Lund ready and put it in the water today.  Put a new live well pump and a new bilge pump in it.  Went with an automatic bilge so it will turn on even if I am not there after a rain.  Could only go half throttle or the waves splashed me.  Really like my 16' Marsh Grass with 40 Honda but am thinking of selling it and getting an 18' same color if I can find a real nice one used.    Will be watching the Masters on and off today whilst doing projects around the place...

23 here and windy as heck.  I grew up in Luverne which is about 13 miles from the Iowa border.  When it was windy there was always a joke about how that is because Iowa sucks.....    :rotflmao: :rotflmao:   Another week, man they are going fast....
