Going to keep going on garage cleaning today. Have a couple of guys stopping this afternoon to pick up tickets for bingo. Need to do a Trio application (or something else, I forget now) on the Lil' Monster this morning after he settles down. Might order a set of lights for grill on the truck too. The $27.00 air horn from FF is awesome. More coffee, later...... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys.  Had to log in this morning.  It is 17 and should see 46 today.  Will be in the 60's by the weekend.  I noticed about 4 days ago that as I brushed Bucko that he is shedding like crazy. The farrier will be here this morning to trim his hooves so I will worm him then too.  Could smell a little skunk odor this morning too.  I better check and see if I have any more .410 shells around here now that they are good as gold.  I sold some to Markn a few years ago.  You all enjoy the nice day!

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 35 at choretime heading for a high in the upper terdies. Was starting to rain when I jumped in the Buick & headed to Bugtussle. Looks like we could see showers thru forenoon & after lunch. Fine by me. Room in the soil for more moisture. Too early for these guys to get stupid & plant corn anyway. Need to get the rainfall data sheets completed & sent, then work on this next week's column if people leave me alone. Wife is working today so I'm on bottle lamb patrol & letting Poppy out at lunch. After getting more sheep moved around, it helped shorten the chores up some but still need to get some yearlings sorted and placed where they belong so we can open up the lot completely to the ewes with lambs. That will cut chore time about in half. This 45 minute to an hour stuff twice a day since late January really gets old. And that's when there are no lambs to complicate matters.

Good morning All.  31 here this morning and supposed to be 40 this afternoon.   We need some good rain for a few days now.  Got a new vinyl cutter and going to see if I can figure out how to do boat graphics today.  Graphics is not something I have done much of so it could be interesting or frustrating or both.   Have a great day All.

Morning boys.  29 here and may see 43 later on.  Gonna see the winds come back too.  May also see rain/snow like JB mentioned.  The river is still froze solid but changing colors again.  We will see 60's in a few days.  :happy1: :happy1:  SO here is how this goes.  When I retired and took over the lawn mowing I got "us" an new mower.  Now that the wife wants me to do more vacuuming I am getting "us" and new vacuum. LOL  She just started teasing me about it.  LOL  There is a pattern here.  Well not a lot going on today.  Watch the weather.  You all have a good one.

I did get some (most) of the garage cleaned up yesterday and got caught up bingo paperwork and prizes. May have to order me another trinket for the truck in celebration. Thinking cab lights for the roof. I did notice a flat tire on the zero turn that should be repaired today.
Barry, I still have those 410 shells if you'd like them back. $0.9248 each. That's what I paid for new ones the other day. I wonder where I put them now......later..... :happy1: :happy1:

I had them for a long time Mark.  I was glad to sell them to you since I don't even have a .410 anymore.  I am enjoying getting rid of stuff.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 34 at choretime heading for a high in the low 40's. Garnered another .79" of rain in Bugtussle with .58" measured at the ranch. Column done & lunchtime approaching. Make a PO run & stop at the newspaper office to pay a bill. Maybe get some tonic money while I'm at it.

With the talk about .410 shells, thought I'd check my supply. Found some shells I'd brought back from Mom's when we cleaned the place out. My how prices have changed. Think the 3" shells & the Federal 2 1/2's might've come from Cabelas not long after I bought my Wingmaster .410 ~20 years ago.

Good morning All.  30 here and the wind has been blowing all night.  Can't see out on the lake yet but it sounds like we had a Migratory bird explosion here in the last 24 hours.  Yesterday morning we had two pair of loons then some ducks and swans.  This morning it sounds like a BUNCH of geese have came in over night.

Morning boys.  It is 24 here and should see about 48 today.  Yesterday it was 44 and snowing at the same time.  Came down pretty good for a few minutes.  I see we have a little of a breeze here already.  Still ice on the river but won't last much longer.  Lots of holes in the ice just around the bend upriver from us.  Will be great to see all of the birds come up this way too from Scenic's.  I haven't been hearing seagulls since the river froze back up.  I have a leaking faucet in the basement that is high on my maintenance list today.  Other than that just stay out of trouble.  You all have a good one.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 34 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-40's. Another .04" worth of liquid equivalent precip both at the ranch & in Bugtussle. Was about 1/2" of snow but it packed and some had melted. Measuring snow ain't an exact science. Was bummed this a.m. Found one of the bottle lambs we've been feeding for ~6 weeks dead. When I fed them last nite about 10 they were both obnoxious like normal. Wife fed them about 2:30 a.m. & they were fine. Part of having livestock. Rule #1: Animals die. Rule #2: You can't change Rule # 1. Wife is off to IL for a funeral so I'm unsupervised until tomorrow nite. Luckily I just got another transport of Boodles. At least I don't have to drink alone with Poppy around. Don't forget to wear yer mask glenn!
