Much like gunner I got to wait for some grass to dry so I can mow today before I go to Miltona for the weekend. Got home from Perham about 11:30 last night so there's definitely a nap on the schedule today. After that the FREE kitten is slated to go to the Humane So. today. Hate to do it, but if I can't have two dogs we aren't having three cats here. Simple. Have a great day everyone, later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Good morning All.  Another cool morning here.  Yesterday we got just enough rain to make things wet.  Today sounds like a bit more of the same.  Wind is supposed to blow most of the day as well.  Just finished up installing a new transom and painting on a Crestliner yesterday and have a Lund Fisherman to finish up this weekend.    Have a good day!!

Morning boys. 55 here and heading for 64 it says. We got .12" of rain last night. Doc appointment went well for the wife yesterday. Still on crutches for another couple weeks. Her nephew, wife and kids are coming up today for the weekend. Hope the wind is decent so we can get out fishing. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Morning boys.  It is already wet here and a big dark cloud is over us.  So that kind of puts the damper on mowing.  I will hit the grocery store and get stuff to make potato salad.  Maybe a few more goodies.  I do have some branches that need trimming too.  TGIF.  Glad to hear the wife is doing good JB.  Well you all have a good one.

Mornin boys, 55 for our start & we're headed towards 63 today. That NW wind looks to be a bit stronger today. Had a little chainsaw work on some of the deadfall around here early yday. Mowed just about everything that hadn't been done this round too. Going to work on the end of the drive a little today as that rain we had last weekend washed it out pretty bad again. Got a couple other things on the list too. 'Bout it here, have a great day.

Have I ever mentioned how much I enjoy mowing grass through standing water? Well that was the case in parts of my front yard yesterday but it had to be done. Looks like hell, but it's mowed. I've got three stops to make this morning on my way to the camper. First is to pick up 20 bacon wrapped porkchops at Klinders, then ice and two dozen ears of sweet corn followed up by a beer and ice stop in Miltona. Otta keep me out of trouble for awhile. Wife and my sister is having a couples wedding shower for our nephew and his fiancé later today. Have a great day all, later... :happy1: :happy1:

Yes we officially opened a shop. Boat interior and transoms.  NOT working on engines.  As for cost of a transom it depends on the boat and how much needs to be taken apart to get to the transom.  Also depends on how much metal repair caused by corrosion is needed and if we are painting it.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 47 & drizzle at Flanders Ontario heading for a high in the mid-fitties. Flanders of course is named after Ned Flanders. Landed here about 10 last nite. Promised we'd go to bed early. We did too. By 2 a.m. & a few stories later, the Sapphire bottle was listing badly. Should make some coffee & decide what to make to go with our hen fruit. Yup markn, ya gotta nip it in the bud. We started with 3 sheep. Now there are about 80 running around!

Morning boys.  A nice looking day here.  Mowing is on our list too. I will also pick a pail of apples and put them by our trail cam in the spruces.  Will look at who showed up the last few days.  One time we saw a doe eat 13 apples that were there.  No other big plans so far.  Well have a good one.

Mornin gang, last I looked we had 53 & we should end up ~ 71, I hear. I did work on the end of the driveway & part of the road that got washed out last Saturday & it's better. Not sure I'm finished with that yet though. Neighbor came over & asked if we were thinking about going to the meat raffle, so we did. Good crowd, neighbor won a free drink but that was about it. I haven't checked my schedule yet today  ;), so I'm not sure what's up today yet. No more now, have a good day.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 49 in suburban Flanders heading for a high in the upper 60's. Looks like the rain stopped for now. Lots of putzing on tap for today. Come to think of it that's what we did yesterday. 🤔 Grill some lamb burgers tonite afterwards. 😋 Forgot to mention our stop at the new grocery store in I Falls the other day. Really nice but as we thought, will take us a long time to figure out where everything is again. The main thing is we found the kipper snacks for HH.

Both sound good.  Just in from cutting brush to clear my view of the river.  Finally feeling good about getting out and doing stuff. I am now going to apply online for my burn permit.  Good for a year and all you have to do is call in when you want to burn. Cost $5 or some little fee.  I  have 2 round bales to burn.  Fun to do and keeps the flies off Bucko.
