Dotch, I've got a cheap tiller I bought about 6 or 7 years ago from Home Depot. No oil drain. Have to tip it over to drain the oil. I use it only about four hours a year.
I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

Good morning campers. Drizzle and 53° when I released the hens.
Got the old Cub Cadet back from the shop already. They said the spindles were ok. They did clean out the carb and changed the fuel filter, oil and oil filter.
Wife has a medical test up in Mankato later this morning. We have to kill some time before a county ditch meeting at the courthouse at 3:00. We get the privilege of paying higher property taxes for ditch improvements. Lucky us.
      Stay safe everyone.

We used to get their ice cream and other things every 2 weeks.  In about 1990 they stopped the pizza burgers and it has been all down hill since.  LOL  I even flagged down a driver now and then to get ice cream.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 49 for an overnite low, 52 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 60's. A light drizzle this a.m. that wasn't expected so there are some grain carts full of beans that sat out overnite. :doah: Got some copy to finish then get a few more yield estimates done. Yup, Schwan's or what's left of it will be closing its doors. Start messing with product lineup recipes especially the ice cream, mess with the delivery price, then constantly have product out of stock, and it's not going to end well.

so yesterday when I was in LP I went to eye glasses store to maybe get my glasses adjusted...   they always slide forward or down my nose..  the lady says she's going to try something else...   OK I say...  goes in the back and when she comes back she said she placed silicone sleeves on the bows...  never heard of that before...  well over 24 hours later I have never had my glasses stay in place so well!!!    so happy with this improvement!!!

back to da smoker??? :surrender:  :doah: put the element back in, hooked the wires up in the back...set it up to turn it on............still wont heat........first i thought i may have hooked up the ground wrong. hooked it up to one if the elements but new that was wrong, so bolted it to the frame.

nope!!!!!!!! switched wire connectors to different element connection .....nope????? put them back??????? nope. it came with 2 new wires that appear to hook to the element, not sure what there for????

there is another opening in the back thats hooked up to what i assume in the board that controls the time and temp.....all seems in place, so........any ideas.

next step would be to find an OHM meter.....i dont got one to see if element is good.......

Never mind. It's heating!! :happy1: :rocker; :dancinred: :dancinred:

2 thinks i think I didn't figure right. I cheated, I took the back panel off the one I got from Mike. I had the ground right the first time, but it back. I don't think I had the wires on the element probes correctly.  With that rubber crap on them I couldn't see, and I think I  needed to get it assembled some for a good ground.

Glenn happy. :happy1: :rotflmao:

That thing with Yelloh or Schwans is no surprise. We used to get things from them maybe 20 years ago. Wife went on the puter and saw the prices have gone way up and some of the things she used to order are no longer available. I sometimes see one of their trucks just sitting somewhere, driver killing time. Sorry for the employees, though.

Same here tt. The last driver we had was super. When I gave Larry the boot, I felt bad about it. He was well aware of the stupid business decisions the company had made that were costing him a lot of sales. Those drivers made a lot of money in their heydey but they worked their tails off for it. I saw the clip tonite on channel 5 about Yelloh going belly up. Nowhere did Yelloh blame themselves but put the blame on everyone/everything else. Before they were sold, Schwan's delivery was rolling along pretty good yet. Still had the best ice cream and confections available. Once they were sold and started making a lot of asinine changes , it was the beginning of the end. Everybody knew it.

I didn't realize some of the quick meals she made years ago (25? Maybe?) came from them. I just blame my bad memory. Either that or I don't remember stuff.

Many years ago, my first wife did daycare out of our home and was required to provide meals to the kids that fell within specified nutritional guidelines.  We had regular visits from the Schwann trucks with some things purchased for the daycare requirements and some just for our own family use. The ice cream was always good and a lot of the other stuff made for good tasting and good quality meals. Too bad they declined.

Morning boys. 55 here and heading for mid 70s today. I went for a walk out in the woods last night in the area my ladder stand disappeared. Hoping maybe someone just moved it on me. It did happen once already with that stand 5-6 years ago. I found it the next spring. No such luck this time. I may try again when the leaves come down. Still pretty thick out there. When we lived in Becker we used to get all kinds of Shcwans stuff. Never got any up here though. Unfortunate for everyone that they went down hill. Pizza corner pizzas is another one that went to crap after they were sold. When will they learn not to mess with the recipes that made them great. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Mornin guys, it said 51 when I was out in the garage ~6 & they have us hitting 78 before the day is over. The tire looked good to me, so it went back on the old mower early yday. Rounded up some more wood to burn too. It was so nice out that we had a little HH out in front of the garage again yday ~4:30 as well. Our regular shopping day here too, so we're headed for GR here in a bit. Have a good day.

Checked on hotel for the night in Mora. $278.00 plus tax. We'll be driving home (2 hours) after my ham sandwich and cake. Later...... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 47 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-70's. Had a whole hundredth in the gauge at the ranch from the sprinkles yesterday forenoon. Just a trace in Bugtussle. A few beans coming off here & there but they're ripening/drying down unevenly. If guys are going to store them in a bin at home they don't want all those green beans and green pods rotting out the bin sidewalls so they'll have to wait. What's up with all these weddings anyway? Doesn't anyone elope anymore? I got another one of the frickin' things to go to Saturday in La Crosse! Have I ever mentioned how much I hate weddings?
