Morning all. Spent the weekend down at hunting camp. We cut 3 cord of firewood and plan to do it all over again this coming weekend. We also had some play time. We went a few rounds of ammo. Shot our pistols and ARs. Also put out the trailcams and mineral licks yesterday. Well off to another day in Paradise. Have good one.

Good morning from here too.  Had a great weekend.  Caught lots of fish on Sat.  was windy Sun but went out for awhile but got tired of the wind so hung it up....  Well the pontoon boat was a blast for a couple of days.  Put it in on Fri after work.  Went down to the dock on Sat morn and it was listing to the starboard side.  Darn.  Pumped it out went for another ride and fished from it for awhile.  Was fun to be able to get up and walk around, and the dogs loved it.   They slept in the sun on the deck.  BUT Sun morning it was really listing so pumped it out again and took it out of the water.  Has a 3" crack on a welded seam at the back of the starboard tube and a 4" crack on another seam on the port side.  Now I have to find someone who can weld aluminum so I can get her back in the water...   Always something isn't it?  Oh well I am just happy it didn't sink worse. Sat. night we were rocking out in the new camper with some Clapton cranked and I went out to pee.  It was cranked up out there too...  lol  We have outside speakers on this camper and didn't know it.  Thank goodness our neighbors are a long ways from us.  We now have the outside speakers turned off till further notice.  Slept out in the camper Fr and Sat night.  Had a blast...

Morning.  Mike after I took it out of the water I kept an eye on it underneath and that is the only two spots I could see leaking.  Hope that is all that leaks.  Looks like rain here today.  Man it has been dry all spring which is not the norm here.  I think most of the fields are planted so would think the farmers would like some moisture.  Lessen the fire danger too.  Have a good day all..

Mornin all, we've got 51. We made it out to the lake about noon yesterday. It looks like it's been warm & very dry here as well, we had just under a 1/2" in the gauge for the 3 weeks we were gone. Good chance of rain here too & 50's with a few 60's for the rest of the week is the forcast. It's time for some blueberry pancakes so I gotta go. Hope you have a good 1.

Whitewater state park is flooding. They've gotten flooded for as long as I can remember, used to go down there a lot. Beautiful trout streams and bluff country.

Howdy fellas, knew I fergot something the back yard rain gauge was at 1/2 " today while the one  in the front was at 6"  smoking_a_joint-408.gif. going otta town sure is fun but coming back to work just flat out sucks. Fishing was slow but managed a few eyes, some nortens and a pail of sunnies. Enjoy the evening gents!!

Severe weather here right now...in case I don't make it thru until the morning, enjoy my video with yer cawfee, guys! This was 360* of sky doing this; I had my lens opened as far as possible to get as much sky in as I could...now imagine all this around you in a big circle. Was out on my deck, could feel the static in the air. Brightest, most incredible light show i've ever seen. Lit up everything, the vid doesn't do it justice. This went on for one hour..... then the poo hit the fan.    :doah:

Man my heart is out to those who got hammered by this storm.  What a hardship not to mention the mess they have to contend with for a long time.  And where to live in the meantime.

Looks & sounds like we had some of the same down around us in Ia., the last couple nights. We've got 53 & just .3" in the gauge, up here, this morning. Oh yeah, mornin all, we're in for a pretty good north wind & cooler temps today. Not supposed to warm up again until Monday. I hope we get some more rain, sure can use it here. Got some laundry in now & it sounds like it's on the final rinse, so gotta go. Hope you have a good 1.

Me too, my heart goes out to all down there. Cool vid there Rebs. 50* to start the day up here and we have been unusually dry for this neck of the woods. I know one of these days the flood gates are going to open up here too.  Only supposed to be in the 50s this week. Not much new happening here. Have a good one all.

'Mornin' gang. Dodged the bullet. Lotsa wind, and a tad more than 1/2" rain in about a half hour period. Lotsa little branches and leaves down, but didn't get any hail or monsoons. Got lucky for once. Sent that video in to channel 6 last nite before bed. Got E-mail from Chris Kuball this am, the weather dude of channel 6 KAAL, he loved it. Gonna be on the telebishon tonite.  Now, after that action-packed stuff, I need some go-juice bad. Have a good one, guys.  :coffee:

Ya these summer storms are never good and I pray for the folks in Wisconsin and elsewhere for their safety and freedom of danger.  We had rain and lightning here also.  We do need the rain but no severe storms.  For those who love ribs, Cubs starting tomorrow has pork spareribs for 1.69 lb.  Also center cut bone in pork chops for 1.69 lb.  good luck.
