He was 93 and had a great life.  He golfed till he was in his late 80's.  Was a great 2nd basemen in high school baseball.  Served in Korea.  Was the nicest guy there was.  I will miss him greatly.  I learned a lot from him.  He was always the life of a party.  We had a lot of them too.  My Mom is still alive and she will miss him the most.  Was a great father!  Thanks to all of you! I had a manhattan in honor of him on the deck last night.  I didn't know this was coming so fast.

I am the oldest of 4 and have been so fortunate to have both of our parents all of these years.  I am 70 and hate to even say it.  I feel 40-50 most of the time.

It’s obvious you have a lot of good memories. Might not seem like it now, but they’ll help as time passes.

Mornin gang, just 2 here & we're headed for 38, I hear. Got a fire warning for today plus a snow advisory from 11 tonight - 1am Monday in the forecast too. Nothing big on my list for today, so I will have to make sure we're ready for the big storm. No more now, have a good day.

Good morning, campers. Not a bad morning. We had 18 sunny degrees and almost no wind this fine day. The hens approved.
I was awakened about 4:45 by the sound of a fox calling not too far from the home. A nice sound as long as the chickens are locked up.
Wife and daughter are running a care package (just about a full car load) of food a stuff up to our son and his family up in St. Cloud.
      Stay safe, everyone.
I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

Mornin forum fellas,  we have 18 and headin fer 48 they say. Not sure what happened but fed the pooches earlier,  let em out, after 5 minutes or so looked out the window and Maisy had a Rabbit in her mouth. I went out she dropped it, it wasn't real warm like a fresh kill but it wasn't stiff either.  Sooo, it's along the garage for now. We gots some errands to run this morning then probably do the mess around here the rest of the day....See ya!!

Morning boys. We have 2 here.  Was 0 a few minutes ago.  Too cold.  But the sun is shining so will warm up to 36 they say.  It got up to 41 yesterday.  The wind kept it pretty chilly though.  Got the truck in the garage to get it vacuumed out today for our ride to Duluth tomorrow.  It is full of dog hair.  May take a run all of the way to town for some stuff too.  Sure would like to have a fire but don't think it will happen today unless it gets real nice out. You all have a good one.   :happy1:

to make a long story short it'll be 2 weeks ago this coming tuesday morning we had the local and cty cops at our door at 1;45 am. my wifes daughter was stabbed  by her husband and she was in the hospital. he is in jail on $80,000 bond and charged with 4 felony counts, with the biggest one second degree attempted murder. we've had suspicions for a long time.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 17 for a low & at choretime, heading for a high in the upper 4 D's. Severe clear earlier but starting to see some clouds. Moved 3 pens of ewes with lambs over to the main barn after chores. Put the yearling ewes in a separate pen and let the main barn ewes & lambs out into the main lot. Fun to watch as the lambs act like they've been shot out of a cannon. Lots of hopping and running so Poppy likes to watch out the window. People are already slowing down to gawk. Got a couple more pens we'll dock, vax & tag today. One of those pens needs to be moved tonite. The ewe likes to jump out of her pen then bellers because her lamb is still in it. Getting sick of her $hit. Gotta get some feed sometime today but that's about it.

glenn: Holy hookshot, Batman! Hopefully they know better than to let him out & end up putting him away for a long time. No place for that in our society. Anything you feel the need to lay on us, we're here to listen.

Finished the pin replacement job on the Cat so I can quit ragging about that. Gun Bingo tomorrow at the VFW in Alex if anyone is interested. Doors open at 4:00, bingo at 5:00. Later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Sorry to hear about your dad Barry. Haven't check in since yesterday. Lost mine in 1999 at the age of 59. Going to suck for awhile, but trust me your days will get better. Not the same, but a little bit better each day. Thinking of you.
Glenn, sorry to hear the step-daughter and I'm happy she is recovering. Hope that azz-hat gets what he deserves.

Good morning.   Another blustery cool day in the neighborhood.  Just watched 3 coyotes out playing on the ice.  That was something you don't see every day but goes to show how many are around these days.   Not real sure what I am going to get into today.  Stay put with the leg up as told or........ getting plenty restless.

Sorry to hear of your loss LPS.

Glenn...what a mess that has to be.  Glad she is doing better.    I would advise a restraining order to further back up the condition of release and worded "no direct or indirect contact with the victim or family".  Also include he can not be within 1,000' of the victim.

Afternoon boys. Holy smokes Batman. All kinds of things happened since I checked in yesterday morning.

Sorry for your loss Barry. May he RIP. Sounds like he enjoyed life right up to the end.

Glenn, what a mess that is. Those are the kind of people they should just throw away the key and leave him locked up.
Hey look your bobber is up!
