Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! Bottomed out at 18, 20 at choretime, heading for a high in the upper 40's. Hopefully get the fruit tree pruning done after chores tonite. Shouldn't take long. Need to get to my friend/customer's place to prune his trees too. Should scope them out to see what I'm up against. They weren't too bad last year & since I may be taking some larger lower limbs off for mowing purposes, I'll go easier on the rest of the tree. Yup Barry, Pizza Ranch's chicken is awesome. Was at the one in Albert's Leaf Northridge Mall recently. Had only been to the one in Waseca locally. They kept coming with fresh batches of chicken so naturally I needed to do quality control. Too bad I had to get back to work that day. After continuing to gorge myself, I could've snuck off to the movie theater to take a glenn nap! 😴💤🛌

Thoughts & prayers sent roony. Hope the surgery goes well. 🙏

You'd hafta show yur union card to write off dat theater nap in the long run Dotch  ;) . As always Afternoon forum fellaroonis,  was 26 at this mornings commute but it found it's way to 48. Outside water is on, pump and tank look good, top it off i put mommas bird bath back out front ( plastic gizmo with a little floating thing that shoots up water) kinda neat, the concrete one in the back is always out. Speaking of air compressors,  the mechanic at work once told me if you don't use em much, drain em, so I do and I don't use em much. But, a few yrs later I heard him say mine are always full of air, even at home... Anywho won't be long the brats n fries will be sizzling away....See ya!!!

Compressor is up and running. Took about four minutes from empty to 155psi. Thought the BIL was going to take my old one, but he backed out. So now I'll take the 1/4" ball valve off that one and put it on the new one. Thanks scenic, great tip. Vet visit could have gone better. Lenny was Mr. Azzhat when we were in the waiting room and Mr. Bashful when we got into the exam room. Oh well. $406.00 later we're good for another year. May look into garage cleaning and building a skid to put a snowmobile on now that I have something that will lift one on the mezzanine. That means some ice fishing equipment may come up for sale, cheap. Later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Good morning All.  34 and pretty grey out here this morning.  They say we are heading to high 40s.  Heading to the shop in a bit and have to just see how long I can spend in there today.  Have a few things I want to get done.

You are welcome Mark.  Learning from other's mistakes (mine) is never a bad thing.   :rotflmao:

Morning boys.  We are looking at 33 and should see about 43 today.  I saw 46 at one point yesterday.  Funny about Lenny.  When I brought Jake in last he was just fidgety as heck.  Kind of whining and wanting to go see stuff.  I walked him around the table till the Vet came in.  lol   He could use some more socializing.  Me too.  LOL  Congrats Mike.  That is an honor.  Glad to hear it.  I see it is a little breezy here and may see some rain later on.  No big plans here today and hope it stays that way.  Have a good one.

Mornin all, we had 32 early this morning & we're lookin for 45 later. It's saying we've got some light freezing rain here too, but the local weather guy said most of our stuff wouldn't be making it to the ground here today. Ran into a hiccup on boat delivery mission yday as the tilt & trim didn't want to work right away. It was nothing that a little warming of hydraulic cylinders & fluid along with a change of our power source couldn't fix though. :happy1: The boat's got to be close to 40 years old, if not more. Got a couple things to get me out the door & I'll go from there. Have a good day.

35 this morning, it's suppose to warm up to sixty. My daughter-in-law made it through the surgery ok. She is in intensive care. The surgeon told my son that they successfully removed the tumor. She is groggy and in a lot of pain. My son is pretty shook up. Something like that should happen to an old phart like me instead of a young mother. The kids are young enough that they don't quite get what is going on. I am hopeful that today will go well.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 34 for the low, 36 at choretime, heading for a high in the upper fitties. Were some small scattered showers on the radar earlier but nothing materialized. A line of stuff back around Sleepy Eye but with only a 20% chance of rain, not holding my breath. Some farmers starting to get antsy and some are agitators, bragging about starting already and wondering why everyone else is so slow. I always love the line "Well, somebody's gotta be first!" My response: Odd, that's the same thing the sheep at the front of the line say when the Judas goat is leading them down the alley to slaughter! Congrats mikey! That's amazing. Glad to hear things went well roony. Hope the Pizza Ranch chicken was good too. I heard laying off buttered noodles and eating cottage cheese with mashed rutabeggars might help glenn. Just a thought... :whistling:

Glenn beat me to it on 50 yrs HH and having fun Mike,  congrats pal!! Ya know tho Glenn,  you eat lots of meat and veggies before you donate? Momma gets to track her blood donation and looks like hers went to the Mayo, pretty cool. Mine, with Lattes infused would probably go to the Popes residence for starters.. :happy1: ;)

I've got a project out in the pod that I want to look into 1st thing today. 'Bout it here, have a good day.

Morning boys.  We have a calm 34 here now and are headed to 50 today.  Pretty overcast now.  We got a lot of snow/rain yesterday but don't know amounts.  It is wet which means muddy for the dogs today.  Haven't seen too many boats on the river here.  Just saw some diver ducks fly by.  No big plans yet.  We shall see.  The wife said she heard that someone bought Arctic Cat.  Anyone else hear that.  There was a rumor of Argo buying them awhile back.  ???  Well you all have a good day.  Yes Scenic, getting old sucks.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 34 at choretime, heading for a high in the mid-fitties. A little dribble of rain last nite about 7:30-ish but that was it. Watershed day yesterday. Had nice visits with a couple friends, both veterans of the Tet Offensive. The one who lives in town just got back from AZ where they overwinter. He's crippled up pretty good & may need some help moving heavy stuff around. The other friend has been undergoing chemo before surgery for bladder cancer. He has two treatments left & seemed glad to have someone stop & visit. Am working with his son on cropping plans & reassured him his son had things under control. Between visits, helped another buddy drag a heavy duty transmission he was struggling to get onto a trailer. Got home, did chores, updated the vax on a lamb, plopped a round bale in the lot & put my armyworm trap out. Figured there was enough light left to finish pruning the pear trees. Got some water & when I looked out the window, it was raining. I punted & had a couple G&T's. Had supper, went out to feed bottle lambs ~9:30 & found the last brood ewe in labor. She didn't waste time. Within an hour, the lamb was on the ground and nursing.
