Ya Glenn it says 41 on our thermometer but the radio says 37 here.  Will be about 70 I think for a high so will be a great day.  Well I did not win the Powerball.  Someone in Mass. did.  Anyone on vacation there that bought it.  If so you are my best friend so don't forget that.     I jokingly told the wife I sure hope we don't win so it doesn't ruin our lives.  You should have seen the look she gave me.  She said we can handle it.

Morning boys. Nippy up here this morning. Coworker said he had 36 this morning. Almost looked like frost on the grass in front of the plant as I was walking in this morning. This cool weather should get the ole bearskys moving. I think the plan is to go put out a couple of baits on Sunday down by the hunting cabin in Skime. Since our side of the road is no quota and I don't have a permit for area 12. Really have the itch to bear hunt this year. Figure I will put a barrel on the hunting land and do a bait on some state land north of there a few miles. Other than that not much else. Have a good day all.

Mornin boys, 49 when I went out & 48 when I came in. The  :fish2:sure liked it though, best panfish action of the season, so far. Could have had my limit but all were C & R'ed. Ended up going in to GR yday as we needed a few groceries. JB your right about the cool weather getting the bears movin, as we seen 1 comin out of a culvert right along Co. Rd. 35, right next to the driveway for Jessie View Resort. It was middle(3 ish) of the afternoon too. We had some showers yday afternoon after we got home & I found .3 in the gauge this am. Morning everyone. TGIF!! The big plans for us id to go and do some 5th wheel camper shopping tomorrow. Brainerd has a couple that we are interested in. Also stopped in Roseau last night and seen one we really liked, but it is sold already. Makes it tuff trying to find something we like when looking for used ones. Just can't swing a new one yet. We will just keep on looking. Sunday I plan to put out a couple of bear baits and get the fun started. But, I need to get thru a day of work first. Have a good one boys.

Fun JB.  Always fun to shop for new things.  We may go to the Falls tomorrow shopping and for a brunch at the Chocolate Moose.  May be a rainy day so that will fit the bill.  Then come home and start making more rigs as the orders are coming in.  That makes me feel great too.  That time of year.  Have a great one today all.

Morning everyone.  started a bit rainy this morning.  I'll have to spread more fertilizer on the lawn.  Weight update.  June--245 and today 217.4 lbs.  Making some German kraut with crispy bacon and baby backs today.  Yes this is a great diet friendly meal.  Saw some cool temps up north in the Arrowhead area this morning.  28 degrees was the lowest I've seen reported in the Brule Lake area in Cook County.  Frost was all over the ground.  Glad I cut the grass yesterday.  good luck.

mornin all, rain here over 1/2 inch so far since last night, and I was hoping for little to nothing so I could get the boat and dock to where I can use them!!!  that's life...  another good day yesterday and getting ready for another.. I'm getting ready to head out to St. Cloud VA for a Aorta ultrasound, what ever that is...  I could not even have a beer last night because of it.  well have a good day all!!!

Good luck with that Mike. If my memory serves me right, it's a machine where they put this stuff on a thing that kinda looks like a razor, they move it around the area your heart is and in a computer screen shows how your Arteries and heart valves are working.

Mornin guys, 58 & rain to start our day. Was raining at 5 when I was thinkin about goin  . Oh well, we need the rain worse than I need to go fishin, the radar looks like we have more on the way too . Might actually have to mow the front yard next week sometime, think it's been at least 2 weeks, maybe closer to 3 since it's been done. Hope you have a good Saturday & a great weekend everybody.

Ultrasound is like using your fishfinder only on you instead of a lake...   They put some goo on you and run the transducer over your skin to image what is inside you.   It is not painful nor invasive.   

Sometimes this is just a screening test, and other times there is something in particular that they have reason to look for.   I hope this is just a routine thing.   

They are probably looking to see if you have an aortic aneurysm, which is a weak spot in your aorta (main artery in your body) that goes from heart down to abdomen.   It can bulge out or expand if blood pressure is high and there is a weak area.   

Good news is that if it is bad enough they can fix it.   Bad news is that if it is bad enough they have to fix it. 

I have had echo cardiograms which are the same sort of thing and they are a piece of cake.   

I think the no alcohol is because they don't trust anyone to only have "one beer" and also it can mess up any blood test.
