Morning all. Always wondered why Rebs called it the red rocket, now I know after seeing the picture. He has a turbo in it. :happy1: TGIF, nice 3 day weekend on tap, just need to get thru 1 day at work. I had 1 bear visit bait. looks like a decent one too. He was only there 1 day though. hopefully he gets more regular next week. Well have a good one boys!

Mornin gents, 49 now here. Didn't go  :fishing: early this morning & I'm blaming it on glenn ;)  :laugh:. His being up on the other end of the lake, as we have a 10+ mph SE wind goin already, because the weather usually takes a turn when he's around. Kinda looks & feels like rain already here, but the best chance is for tonight. I've got a little more mowing I can do, might go out & see what the walleyes are up to as I haven't gave them a shot in about a week. Hope you enjoy you Friday everybody.

mornin all, didn't get as cool as they said last night, only 68 today..  I have some mowing today too, then dishes and laundry tomorrow am, then I should be set for company when thy get here in the afternoon Saturday.  well have a great day all!!!

46* and sunny down here, at the home of the turbo ramjet powered Red Rocket. Brrrrr. Nothin' on the to-do list today. Did some trim painting around lower windows and garage door yday. Painted header over garage door. Also painted side door threshold that goes out on deck. That was about all my work for the day. Went to three places to get green top onions, stores said no  one is getting any in from the growers...a green top shortage? Not when I'm having ribs on Monday....I'll hit my Mom 'n Pop today after the ceme run to get to the bottom of this! Have a good Friday, guys... :coffee:

A balmy 50 at choretime and 62 in the house after leaving the winders open overnight. At least  I remembered to turn the thermostat down so the floor heat didn't come on. Gotta flop the hay over before lunch then I might punt on the rest of the day after I move a few more bales around to make room for this last cutting. I deserve a little screw off time doncha think?

now I see we are in an air quality alert because of the smoke coming out of Canada, along with 40% chance of rain.  don't know if I'll get the mowing in... no big deal...

picked up over 3 5 gallon pails of ground fall apples yesterday, looks like another pail today already!!!!  oh yea!!!!

ooopppsss 2 buckets full!!! today...

Back from fair.  12 hours with grandkids.  Mostly on my feet.   17000 steps on the fitbit.   Lotsa seniors, for sure.   

I think I saw Reb outside the swine barn with a machete  :hubba:..... So I stayed away.   I think his must have gotten another freezer...

Morning, we talk about how next year we are going to the state fair.  Maybe next year.  We got a nice rain yesterday afternoon.  Been a while.  Hey I forgot to tell you that I put slime in some tires here.  My woods mower and lawn mower and they are holding up great.  Thanks for the info.  Work for me today so you all have fun for me.

mornin all, well I got everything done I wanted to yesterday and then some.. a good day!!!!  I see at least another pail of apples on the ground today, at least it's not to windy today..  the haze is still here.. getting the laundry done today and make beds...  got to fire the pellet smoker again today, did some hard boiled eggs yesterday and even made a few deviled eggs.. today will be meatloaf and baked potatoes on it....   sunday chicky thighs stuffed with dressing...

i really like doing ribs.  Usually a 2-2-1 thing so it keeps me tied up all afternoon.  Great on football days.  Mandatory to tip a few whilst in action too.  Makes the ribs more tender.  Sometimes I thaw them in the sink in warm water which only takes 1/2 hour and then spice them and throw them on.  But fun to let them absorb the spices overnight too.  Also the smell makes you drool while in the frig.  So how is fishing on Little O?
