rain day so i'm working on my list of things to be done before ice. Oops the list is getting long. Guess I was golfing to much this summer?
Did shoot a 43 with a nine on the last hole two weeks ago.
Hope to do a little more fishing  but the lake is pretty low.
I guess I did not win a car  for my football pick but did win some famous sausage. hope its not raccoon roadkill? Just kidding boar.  have a grand day

Can't wait for some sun to dry things out a bit.  I plan to head to the land on Thursday so hopefully the water will have soaked in a bit by then.

We needed the rain but the sun will be a nice change.  Will be in the low 60's which will feel good too.  I have Fri and Mon off and will try to show up tomorrow but I don't know about that.  May take it off too.  Need a break.  Got lots of things to do at home.  That is nice to get them done too.

it's a seminar called labor law and labor arbitration. There is a panel of 5 arbitrators, they go thru cases and each makes a decision. It's quite interesting. And they each have a discussion on one particular subject. In my line of work it sure helps deciding how far to push things

Morning all. Just livin' the dream here. 49* and sunny. No big plans today. Furnace check in afternoon. Whacked down the 'mater plants yday and wrapped and put away two small boxes 'maters to ripen. Still have a huge pile of them on my counter top that are ripe. Don't worry about the apple tree Mike; they grow back fast. Not the best time of year to prune an apple, but you should be OK. They never think of that. Just be glad it wasn't the GAS COMPANY and yer lawn and driveway slab.... :mad1:  :taz:
Have a good one, guys...

the apple tree needed pruning but as you said not the best time of the year.  it's the 2nd time it happened and that tree just came back bigger,.  I see it as less ground falls to pick up next year!!

Mornin boys, 47 about a hour ago, got 5-10 mph westerly wind goin again, close to another 1/2" in the gauge as  well. Gotta agree, guys, it will be nice to see the sun again today. I see that Louisville's head BB coach might be in trouble with this new FBI college BB investigation. Did his son learn that from him too? That stuff has been going on so long that I'm actually surprised someone hasn't rocked the boat a long time ago. The list of schools / coaches that have been doing this forever is a lot longer than the list of schools who've been doing it the right way, I think. :bs

Second time in two years!  :angry2:  Was to a Healthcare Mgmnt Company....WTF??!! I do NOT use my card on the internet, etc, and only rarely use it. Never over the phone, only in person. A quick trip to my credit union and the card was cancelled on the spot, and the form signed for resolution. (My VISA is thru them...the only way to fly) I'll be credited back the amount in a couple days, and the company can fight it out with my credit union. Because I discovered and reported it in within 60 days, I'm not liable for any charges, that's the law. That's why I check my online credit stuff and acct twice a week...only takes a minute. Who knows how they got this number? Hard to say. I urge everyone to go to the Equifax site and see if yer SS# was one of the ones compromised. Mine wasn't. But I still got winged......

"Because I discovered and reported it in within 60 days, I'm not liable for any charges, that's the law."

Note that this does not apply to debit cards.  Debit cards have much less legal protection, and the process is different.   I refuse to use a debit card anyplace but the ATM.

So we check our credit card statement every month and make sure it is all legit.  Shouldn't that take care of it???
