I'm hoping to get out tomorrow and try a crappie hole where I put them to sleep late fall in the boat.  Not sure if they will still be there but figure it's worth a try and I'm guessing no one will be fishing there as everyone always fishes a different part of the lake for the little buggers.  Good luck to everyone going out.

Morning guys. Nuttin' much going on here, 'cept the howling winds and 28*. Gonna be a putz around the house day and get some odds'n ends done. Haveta dig out the fondue pot for those lil' smokies on NYE. I swear I could open an appliance store with all the small devices and cookery I have here. It's overflowed into a separate closet, as it will not all fit in the kitchen. Remember these? This is the exact one I have and received in 1976 as a gift, it still works like a charm. Still have all the forks, too.

Here is my go to grilling method when too cold and windy outside or I am just in a lazy mood.  Bought it 20 years ago and is kind of fun to use.  Electric element.  Use under the exhaust hood and it is fine.  Actually doesn't smoke that much.  The wife dropped it 2 years ago so found another porcelain part on Ebay.  The new one had cracks in it so am careful with it.  Kind of looking for another one for the porcelain part....

Ya just can't beat those old appliances, can ya?  I remember those, LPS. Simple and worked well. My toaster oven is at least 20 years old and still going strong. Try to do that nowadays...
