I'm glad my wild guess was wrong.
yea me too...............but no way on gods green earth would of i thunk that!!!!  :doah: but i be far from a mechanic!!!!

Experience is always best!   :party1:    ;D  Only vehicle I've ever taken is this "new" F-150, with the exception of having tires/brakes done on my other vehicles. I will NOT do brake jobs anymore.  $#@! Hate 'em!  This is also  the first vehicle I've ever taken in for an oil change in my life!!! They can actually do it cheaper than I can...and with a 7' sheetrock ceiling in garage/shop, no way will that 4 x4 get up on ramps...ya can't open the hood!

Takes 3 mns, LPS! I wander out into garage Sat mornings, flip hood,  do fluids check in 10 secs, by looking at master cylinder, power steering pump, rad overflow, WW fluid, all at once, and pull dipstick. (not you, Glenn.) When ya been wrenching on these things for 40 years, it's pretty easy. Probably why after 20 years I sold my boat 30 mns after posting for the same price I paid for it brand new. :happy1:

Morning Gents. Made it to -24 last night, was -8 this morning. We are getting the snow and wind today. Blowing pretty good already. I am hoping that cold is getting thru the blanket of snow on the lake and making some ice. Need to thicken up some more out there. The 2 spots I fished last weekend I had 15" of ice. The water starts pushing up as soon as I drilled holes. Well time to get busy in paradise. Have a good one.

Mornin all, -8 here as well. Didn't see anything worse than -16 for Bemidji, A lot of wind here today too, 15-25 mph with gusts to 30. So WC's going towards -30 or so today, they're sayin closer to -40 to -45 overnight. Some indoor projects here again today. Enjoy the day everybody

-4.5 here.  Warm up on the way.   I have been thinking about a camping trip in ND to see if I can communicate with Big Foot this summer.  Maybe we could have our 1st Annual Big Foot Jamboree out there.  I like the tree knocking thing.  So how do you know if it is Big Foot knocking or another Big Foot hunter knocking???

Well one more day at work before hitting red lake and seeing a few people I haven't seen in a while.  Looking forward to a little relaxation.  I have propane tanks to fill and a couple other odds and ends to grab today.  I'm sure sleep will be tough to come by tonight.

The temp isn't bad around here, but this wind is a pain in the  :moon:. I waited for daylight to drive into town, and was still a bit iffy. I should have just turned around. Anyhoo, a couple more days of chilly weather, then a nice warm up¡!!!!

Have a great day all!!!!

You are number 1 today Hawg.  I am up early as we are on our way to Bemidji for our Health Dynamics physicals.  No food till we are done.  Then I will take the wife out to eat wherever she wants to go.  My default is the Super Buffett.  lol  Not her first choice but it is quick and easy with lots of food.  OR Hardees since we have their commercials on here.  Or  Applebees or Ground Round.  It is -33.5 here with a little wind so they are saying -47 wind chill.  I really don't like leaving home when it is like this. As I rolled around in bed this morning I told the wife she may have to go alone.  lol  Well I will be going she said in so many words.  lol  She is a winner..  We will bring warm emergency stuff with us.  Also we have been using the pellet stove when it gets cold like this.  It does require some daily cleaning which gets old but it is nice and warm.....  The big warm up starts tomorrow.  I am looking forward to that.  Will get the fish house warmed back up and drill out the holes for the weekend.  MLK Day is a traditional ice fishing day for me...  Well thank goodness the female Dr. has small fingers.....   She always says "hiii Baarrryy" with a big smile on her face....  (i think she likes the insertion program) I tell the wife I almost feel like I am on a date with her.   :rotflmao:

Morning all. I hope she buys you dinner first Barry. We like to go to Super Buffet also when we go to Bemidji. I really like the General Tso Chicken. We had -30 at home this morning. I am sure it will go down a couple more when the sun comes up. Going to meet a childhood friend after work today. Have not seen him in almost 20 years. His kid is in hockey and they are up here for a tournament in Roseau. They are staying at the Patch, so I will meet him over at Izzys for a beer. The wife and I are going to go for a snowmobile ride  tomorrow, then probably fish on Sunday. I hope this cold is making a little ice out the on the lake. Have a good day all.

Here's a new one for me. The weather guy says that with a temp of -30 and a calm south wind (how can calm be wind?) the feel like temp is -27. Does that make any sense at all??????????

-3 here in CAWchester. Grocery day for me at Glenn's favorite store, WallaceMart. Been laid up since after Christmas, slipped on the ice and I know I tore my quad and hyper-extended my ACL, which has been operated on before and hence gives me no lateral stability. Legs went out, but I yanked back and never went down. That's what did the tear, I think. Easing into walking some last few days.  Hit that buffet hard, Barry, I miss those. All of them closed up here in the alleged #1 city. I have no idea why; the places where always packed. At least Golden Corral was. Ate there a lot with the boys from work. Good food. Everything's closing up here so MAYO can buy the property and further their totalitarian regime. Get out and get some fish; and enjoy the weeknd, guys. I need more cawfee...... ;)
