Morning guys, 37 to start. Rain is supposed to start late afternoon for us, they've upped our storm totals to 3-10" by Saturday morning. Some freezing rain possible tomorrow too. Will be heading to Austin by mid afternoon today as mom has a Dr. appt Friday morning. Storm totals closer to 8-14" according to the NWS for them. We may have to wait until Saturday to come back home. Have a good 1

morning getns!  headi g to south tip for a oong weekend with the wife and freinds.probably the last big hurah, but there should be smaller trips yet. we will live to pout another day. although glenn pouts everyday. its about 20 degrees and things have firmwd up nice. almost cant wait till ice fishing is done so i can do something else for a change. have a great weekend!!

Pig roast sounds good reb, I've been burning them up in sausage lately but sure could go for some piggy in crackpot with a bunch o kraut.  Afternoon all, stopped and filled up the ram, ended up using my cub points and saved 30$, man its awesome watching the kid behind the counter as his eyes widen looking at the screen.  With the savings I shoulda emptied the shelves of water and such for the big storm but decided a couple o cans of chew would be best. Looking like homemade zas tonight in the oven, should probably chuck one on the weber but not tonight. SEE YA!!!

6 am CST Saturday...

* expect blizzard conditions to develop around midnight and then
  diminish around 6 am Saturday.

* Winds gusting as high as 45 mph will cause whiteout conditions
  in blowing snow. Significant drifting of the snow is
  likely... especially on ridge tops and in open areas. Tree
  branches and power lines could fall as well.

* Total snow accumulations of 10 to 16 inches are expected.

* Travel will be very difficult to impossible... including during
  the morning commute on Friday.
