Morning all.  6 here.  Bright sunny day.  Gonna park the fish house in the yard today.  May do some country style ribs today.  Grilled a steak last night and over cooked it.  Darn, but the wife made a salad that was awesome.  Trying to eat more of them.  Healthy you know....

I'm ready for Spring. I know that's a long time away. Got some CSR's rubbed and waiting to grill for tonite, too, Barry. No idea what I'm gonna make to go with 'em......I'll figger out something.  Gonna have a Glenn-type day, just goof off.    Have a good one, guys.

Good to hear you are ok today Rebs.  That show removal is something that is easy to overdo.  People die every year from it....   I am ready for spring too.  With all of us talking temps it is so interesting how much warmer it is in the southern part of the state than the north.  More than I would have thought.  We love it here but are thinking of moving to the central part of the state when I retire in a couple of years.  Will be closer to both of our families there.  Big Stone or Traverse interest me.

Good morning, wow what a difference a day makes Friday was sunny and 80 and today is 28 and light snow. The only thing I plan on doing is ordering a pizza watching golf and the Daytona 500 while trying not to move off of the couch too many times.  :happy1:
if you kick me when I'm down you better pray I don't get up.

Mornin Gents. May warm up some , but looks chili come Thursday. Finished up the firewood Saturday and fished yesterday. Made biscuits and gravy out in the fish house for breakfast. Num num. The bite was nothing to brag about, but it beat the heck out of cutting firewood. Have a good one.

Morning guys, we have 22 to start. Low 40's for today, tomorrow, high 30's on Wednesday is the forcast. Chance of some rain tonight, thunderstorms early tomorrow so the  :snow4: will all be gone. Not a big race fan but did catch the last of the Daytona 500. Kind of cool to see the crew chief's reaction after winning. Sounds like a good day to be outside some. Have a great day!

After being AWOL for a while I have returned. Beat the snow into submission only to have a ewe beat on me yesterday. One set of bruised ribs, an egg on my shin and a broken pair of glasses later I was pissed. We nicknamed her Psycho. Very lucky she wasn't made into lamburger. The yard is a disaster area. Bucketing snow on top of frozen ground is bad enough but peeling sod off when it's not really makes a mess. Was doing so well prior to this storm. Had very little gravel to pick up let alone sod. Oh well, not the first time this has happened. Probably won't be the last.

Morning gents! 11* and a lite dustin of snow this morning. Looking warm for the weekend. Thinking I am going to need to find a better way to cross the breaker out front of our house to get the fish house back to shore in the next week or 2. I was thinking I would be good to leave it out for the next 2 weekends, but after looking at the forecast I am now second guessing myself. Oh well. Have a good day all.

Man your weather report always sounds good to me Gunner.  You obviously live in south MN???  We are just starting to get more ground exposed in the fields.  I hope that draws some more weather in.  I have been seeing lots of groups of deer near groves by homes in the country.  6 - 8 groups yesterday.  4 came into our yard again yesterday evening.  I was on the road for work so got to see more.  I am getting even more curious about what the Vikes are going to do with Adrian.  I think they need to make a decision by March 9.  May have to mention that in a football thread.

Morning to all.  Computer problems for me the last two days.  got a new modem and had it hooked up only to find out it didn't like the router.  Spent 4 hours with a tech in Infinity.  They do their best but noting they could do about the out of date router.  So I put the old modem back on until I get a new router.  Smoking the cottage bacon tomorrow so that will be nice.  Going ice fishing this weekend with the nicer weather coming.  Back to Grindstone I think.  good luck.

Another important update!!!!  Yesterday on the radio they were talking about how people in Rochester are using acupuncture for relieving pain.  ???  SO why just there????   It was on the radio so it must have been true.

Oh bullsh**!! More MAYOchester psychobabble, Barry! May be a few here doing it, mostly the yuppie type crowd. This town is so boring, they haveta hype up everything. All we hear daily is, Mayo, DMC, and Diversity...over and over and over.   Up until recently, MAYO frowned on that big time...I know, because it was one of the issues when I went thru Mayo's pain clinic to try and get my pain under control. They also don't believe in chiropractic. What Mayo says, this town follows.  There's more friggin' hype and bragging in this town than in a high-school locker room or a redneck bar at 1:00 am on a Friday nite.
