Glen, the roads are slick up north so drive with care.  We got a half inch here in Andover.. Actually hailed yesterday late in the afternoon then turned into sleet.  Smoking Cottage Bacon today.  I watched the speech last night also.  So proud of Trump.  Best speech in years.  What a tribute to the Navy Seal who died for our great nation.  had to get the Kleenex out a few times.  Love this country,  pray for our troops every day along with our first responders.  good luck.

About an inch of greasy skid stuff as Cannon used to call it. Looks like it's about done snowing. At least there was no reason to try to move it around. Think I'll check into converting our whirlpool bath into one of them soused virgin thingies today. Already put a garbage disposal in the shower. Whirlpool never gets used anyway. That way I could put a whole hog in it... :rotflmao:

Dotch, you could use a stock tank with an immersion heater... Trick would be coming up with a big enough bag to vacuum seal a whole pig (or lamb even).   And of course it would take a day or two or three....

before I got my sous vide I just used a pot of water and my digital thermometer and it took one hour to get mine to stay around 135 degrees on an electric cook top.  The hottest water in my tap was 125 degrees to start with so there wasn't much to get it going.  You don't need the $100 machine although that sure makes it brainless.

I always boil cold water for the few times I do. After morning fellas, ya it was ugly out today, at 2:30 this morning it was a mist that froze to the windshield then bout 4:30 it was snowing  perty hard. Tacos tonight with some sorta taco Chipotle seasoning, should be good. Kinda pissed though, the stache had to come off, I have a bump that the doc didn't like so it's off to a dermatologist tomorrow.  We'll eat good tonight gents!!!

10 above to start off the morning. Roads were slick from a late afternoon snow squall that stuck to it. At least it froze all the slush in the yard into big ruts so you can fall and twist an ankle! Hopefully by next week that will disappear again. Still battling the alien although a couple of nasty tinctures last night knocked me out during halftime of the BB game. Gonna beat this crud yet. :tequila;

Hi all.  It is a cold one here.  Cleaned the chimney cap on the garage and the fire is burning nice now.  Was a little restricted and getting a little smoke come back before.  Life is good.  Man RH makes me hungry.  Time for me to get some smoming of some nice meat going.  Will be warmer from now on so will be more apt to do it.  Ya haven't seen you for a few days Dotch.  I was in the store last week and saw some tiny lamb chops but they were $11.99 lb.  T-bones were $9.99 so guess which one won.  lol  I was thinking of your sheep program when I saw them...   Fun watching the Adrian thing.

He is thinking of fishing most of the week. Glad we don't have to cut firewood this weekend, we are done for the year. TGIF, have a good one all.

That upcoming weather sounds great JB.  Not sure if I have to work tomorrow or not.  If I don't we are going to Bemidji to pick up parts from our new injection molders.  Digital Designs is their name.  Great guys and we actually are getting our parts on time.  That hasn't happened before.  Turned out to be a big problem so we changed to these guys.  AND we are going to eat at Culvers.  it used to be Ground Round and we just noticed that it is now Culvers.  Their commercials are great.  I want to try a butter burger...    :-)  Later all....

Sounds like fun. Have you ever ate at Dave's pizza in Bemidji? Really really good pizza there. Do you run your own molds?

Ya Daves is great.  Haven't been there for awhile.  I own my molds for the spools and for the wall brackets.  I have them at Digital Design make the parts.
