Watching it now.  I like to watch the ships too.  There is some great ships in bad weather on youtube.  And some crashing into things.  That is fun to watch too.

The ship is just coming in.  Haven't seen the booms you talk about.  Could it be elevators for the grain or ore to flow through?

Ya must be what they are for.  I see that boat is still waiting to come in.  Cool.  I like going there.  I saw a couple of jet skis a few minutes ago.  Must have been Boar and Glenn in their speedos out for a cruise.   :rotflmao:  I see smoke coming out of the stack of that ship now.  Must be on the move to the canal now.

Yup that's it Mike.  Best gas grill I ever had.  With the plate of metal right under the grates it gets real hot.  That must be the infrared part.  I put hickory chips on the right side after I take the top grate out.  I turn the right and middle burner on high.  When the chips start smoking I put the steak on.  Works great!  It was called the Professional but when I got it is says Signature on it.  I guess it is the same thing.  Stainless steel parts instead of porcelain like the Performance grill has.

Duluthboats says it has been anchored, and will be arriving between 430 and 530 today.   So it should be possible to get a better look pretty soon.

That was fun, we have been wanting to do that for awhile. It was a beautiful day Saturday. Got a little ruff in the evening heading back , but not to terrible. Well, another wonderful Monday morning. Happy eclipse day! Raining and T-storming again down here in ultra-swampville, home of the lawns-turned-moats. No eclipse for me. Instead, laundry and clean house day. Have fun guys.  Remember to wear yer ECLIPSE GLASSES....:coffee:

Wow!!! Dat was cool!!!  :dancinred: Viewer worked great! At full point, very muted sunlight, since we were only in about only  75% of the eclipse path.
