That is Fred's number, Gunner. 'Course, the smurf wouldn't think to call a bait shop...in his case, maybe the liquor store would be best....     That's what I always did when I headed up to a lake somewhere...called the bait shop, year 'round. Best source of info there is.

Good morning guys, it been awhile but life has been a little hectic here, 70 plus hours/week here at the shop, people dying, uncle in hospice, an aunt having surgery, so on and so on. Other than that not much new, it's a nice sunny day going up to about 60 degrees before a cool down later in the week. The coffee is ground and will be in the mail for those winners that gave me their addresses, sorry for the delay. Y'all have a good day and keep warm there up north.

He doesn't usually get his bait at Fred's, he buys his from a old boy on the east side of town. His guy has a old fridge outside where you can pick up bait 24/7 & pay on the honor system. Probably cheaper too

NO! I didn't mean that, I meant his prices are probably cheaper & I knew you'd like that , as he has very little overhead. Hard to beat Chris & Tim Schultz at the Bowstring Store. Very friendly & honest, plus they are almost always working. Tim's family started Lakewood Lodge, our place originally too, back around 1900 & he's lived in the area most all of his life, so he knows everybody. They talk to the locals everyday so they know what's going on all the time. You shouldn't hesitate to call them anytime your lookin for the latest scoop.

Around here also their closin the schools and maybe roads tighter than 57 lip about fishin walleye which he never catches!!

63* here and partly sunny!!! Took advantage of it and pulled my front steel door to install a new threshold insert.....the only thing I forgot to do this year! Nothin' like right down to the wire....done!
