Same here, Dotch. Hammered. Snow is so heavy it's all the big blower could barely handle. It's like wet concrete or one of those March snows. Blew out an hour ago, and you'd hardly know it. Took over an hour. Still just roarin' down. Screw it. I'll hit it all again tomorrow.

Ya snowing here in Andover.  Was going to go out and blow what came so far but it's so damn windy I'll wait till the morning.  Supposed to stop around 8 or nine.  This was supposed to happen last night.  I don't pay any attention to the weather folks on TV  I just check the radar.  Getting ready to make 10 pounds of chicken sausage on orders from my wife.  Garlic sausage mix from Curley's.  She loved it last time so it's on the agenda.  Nice to see Dotch on here again.  good luck.

Just got in from night chores. Yard has some huge drifts but didn't expect anything less. The feedlot wasn't bad. All I had to do was clean out the bunks and grain trough. Typical here when we get a NE wind. Did the yardstick walk around just before I came in. Right at about a foot total so 10.9" since 7:30 when we measured 1.1". As Reb said, behaves more like a March snow in terms of moisture content. Curious to see how much water melts out of the sample I took. Still snowing off and on so will likely have a dab to measure in the morning.

Not as much as you Dotch but I'wasn't going to do the snow till morning but I went anyway.  8 inches so far and more to come so I'm glad I did.  The snow here wasn't as wet as I thought.  25 degrees here and blew well.  Now for a cocktail or two.  good luck.

Ya Rebs, be careful.  I would come over and help if I was closer but we couldn't be further away from each other if we tried.

Finally made it to town and after running errands, I can sit down for 10 minutes. Final snowfall tally at home was 13.4". 1.44" of liquid equivalent so it was juicy. In Bugtussle about 11". Still melting that one yet. Took 3 hours to make the yard passable. Still need to open it up more in places so we can maneuver better for shearing Saturday. Roads are crap. Took Mrs. Cheviot an hour to get to Albert's Leaf. She said our yard was better than the roads. Think she's just trying to get in my pants.  :sleazy:

Morning boys. Had 15 to start the day today. Looking like 30s tomorrow and Friday. We are on the roller coaster of temps it seems. Making the breakers on the lake go up and down also. Everybody is having fun with them. I need to figure out how to get my track truck across so i can move my fish house out of the big donut hole it is in right now before fishing in it. Maybe tonight i will give it a whirl, depending on how i feel. Still feeling ruff from the crudd. Well back to paradise. Have a good one.

So you did get the crud too JB?  I feel good but the cold air really irritates my lungs.  Halls Honey and Lemon drops have been the best thing for me.  They told me that the throat thing can last for awhile.  Hump day.  Can't wait for the weekend even though I work Sat morning.  As much as I would like to go ice fishing I am going to stay warm and inside for one more weekend then it is back to fishing.

Yep, have had the crudd since the end of the day last Thursday. It was fun cutting our last 6 cord of tamarack last weekend, but i got thru it. I have been chowing down those Halls lemon and honey also. They certainly do help. I may do the same as you this weekend. Time will tell.

Morning guys. 10* and fawgy here. So far, so good. Don't hurt as much as I expected this am after the snow thing the last two days. Bunch of meetings in place with various agencies for my Mom on Thurs-friday, and also meet with my attorney on Friday.  Maybe now the social service morons will quit harping on me. I can't do anymore than what I have. Haven't had a minute to do it!!!!  Might poke around the store a bit and pick up a few items, eating has been grab what I can lately, so I need to get into making proper dinners again. You fellers with the various diseases take care of yerself, and get better! Barry, breathe through yer nozzle in the cold air instead of an open mouth, it won't hurt yer lungs so much. Cold air burns my old asthmatic lungs. I was yawping air like a catfish outta water yday doing the snow thing. Lungs were sizzling good last nite. Well, cawfee time fellers, hang in there.  :coffee:
