20* here with a red-streaked over slate gray sky. Weather watch out for Mon-Tues. Rain, sleet, ice, glazing, snow, high winds...yadda yadda. Gonna take my Mom out later today for groceries before the crap hits. Gonna load her up; this buy one or two items at a time is gonna end. I can't always get way over there, and lately it's been 3x a week because she needs something. Gonna load up the cart good.
Plow right thru those aisle bovines.  Have a good weekend, guys.

Dotch better get those sheep ready for the wedder warning... ;)

Mornin gents, got 11* & :snow4:. Looks like Reb's wedder buddies have changed our snow totals again now. What was ~1" earlier in the week turned to 3-4" by Friday, that changed to 5-7" by late yday, & now has went to 6-8" overnight. A Winter Weather Advisory until 6 pm now. We must have had close to a dozen porties out on the bay yday by days end. Most were in the am & about 1/2 of those came from the resort nearby. Not me either, Reb. Can we do like we do with just about everything else here & blame it on glenn. ;) Oh wait :bonk:, he not like that besides he's up here. Just bought 1 of those lights for my sister last year for Christmas. One for the niece the year before that & they both really liked that 1 too. Those suckers are heavy, I forgot that & almost dropped the last one when it came. Not much else new to report, have a good Sunday guys

A lady goes into a bar with her goose. Then the bartender comes up to her and says, "Why did you have to bring the pig in with you?"

Then the lady answered, "Excuse me, I think this is a goose."

And the bartender says, ''Excuse me, I was talking to the goose.''

Figured you'd be hightailin it out of here. What time did you get on the road?  Mornin guys, we've got 6*to start. Stuck my head out the back of the garage about the time, 4 pm, it looked to be almost done :snow2: yday & measured 9". It took us the better part of an hour to go 24 miles to get the mornin paper about 8:30. It finally let up a little ~ 11 & I checked out back then too, we had 7" at that time with most of that fallin since 8 am. Good thing there wasn't much wind or there would've been 3-4' drifts, no visibility, & a bunch of people without power. I haven't seen it come down like that for that long in a long time. Guess what we'll be doin today?  :snow3: The Bemidji weather Channel is sayin another 2-4" tonight. Glad you got home safe glenn. How much longer did it take ya. Where'd the roads get better? Nothin else goin on here, better get some bfast, fire up the wheeler & the blower. At least it's not nasty cold out today. hope you have a good 1, everybody. More weather for the rest of ya today, so be safe if you have to be on the roads.

Wow! Gunner, where you at? Yer really gettin' it! I don't know where a lot of you guys are, other than "up north". Ya'll know I'm down here in the banana belt...where it's supposed to rain, and turn to ice later this AM. Predicting icing all the way thru tomorrow  into Wednesday with up to 1/8" ice. Then the snow and wind start...... morjits saying gonna be lotsa power outages. (so what else is new...a skwirrel farts and the power is always going out down here...$#@!) Big city crap. Hazardous to no driving later today thru tomorrow. I just worry about the power outages. I have half-gallon milk jugs filled with water and frozen in my freezer downstairs and the 'fridge freezer. Keep a freezer full.  Helps throughout the year and especially during an outage. Cell phone is charged up, and have plenty of LP for my two Buddy heaters, just in case. Stay warm and safe guys, and be careful.

All plowed out, only took about a hour, ready for round 2. The Grizzly moved it just fine, had the drive 1/2 done before the plow did the road. Might've been pretty close on my 9" storm total as NOAA is reporting Cass Lake & Marcel havin 10".

Ayup...here we go. That skwirrel musta farted. I talk to my cousins in St Paul, Northern Minny, and California, and they say their power very rarely goes out. I keep track; last year it was out three times here in my area. Once already this winter...WTH is the major problem in this town??! It's always an "unknown cause at this time"...

Yust icy here. Started out about 27 degrees & has remained about steady. The wind concerns me if they make the powerlines start dancing. Busy weekend in the lambing barn. About halfway thru the process. Wind ripped a sheet of steel loose on the lambing barn so had to screw it back down once it subsided some. Gotta get some feed then think I'll sit tight. Lots of people in the ditch & falling on their assets.   :mad1:

Morning boys. 3 above to start the day here. Back after a 3 day weekend. Fished all 3 days. Nothing exciting to report on that front. Was kind of slow in my book. Did get enough for a meal each day though. Well, back to the grind. Have a good one!
