I heard that people were using 2 auger extensions to get through the ice on Lake of the Woods.  Hope they have room for them in their pickups right Boar?       I was told 43-46 inches of ice.  I am thinking there will still be ice on the lake for the fishing opener again like a couple of years ago.  Yup windy as heck here and not a flake of snow.  It is all west of us.  That is a good place for it.

I measured 37" last weekend out front of our place. But i have also heard of thicker in other places. Yah, them darn extensions take up so much room.

A little rain/freezing rain precip overnight. .04" in Bugtussle proper only a trace at the ranch. 34 at choretime. Windy with gusts over 45 mph. 5" - 8" of snow predicted on top of the mud from the weekend melt. Schools closing early. Not much snow left after having about 10" on the ground a week ago.

Blowing like crazy here too, lots of stuff comin off the trees. No big branches or snow yet but the radar looks like it could start about anytime.

Out this way  were total whiteout, Rained and then froze bout 1/4 inch ice under 3+ inches a snow and still really commin down.Aint even walkin down to the mail box 600 ft down the driveway.

Channel 4 news at 6 said St cloud had 9.2 inches of snow. Maybe there but here in cold spring we might have 3.

Once again, and for the LAST time, with my back or legs , and because I AM smarter, I HAVE to do it twice because I can't lift huge shovelfuls of snow all at once, ya knob!! But, you WOULD try to!!!

Alls quiet on the northern front.  13 here.  Gonna get down to 4 tonight so will fire up the woodburner in the garage again.  Can't give up yet.  Still cold out.  Not anything special going on here today.

Like Barry said we didn't any snow up here just wind. Had 9* when i got up this morning. I will be liking some cold weather for the next few days. Made a crossing over the breaker last night and the cold will help to freeze it up. Not sure if it will be solid enough to pull the fish house across, but it will be good for snowmobiles if someone doesn't try and go across it with a ranger or wheeler today. If they do, they are going to by in big do do when the tracks drop into knee deep slush. There are no fresh tracks across it, so hopefully that throws a little caution to them. Have a good day boys!

mornin all, 25 here and trying to figure out the snow, looks like we very little here and 8 miles away 8 inches....  I know a couple times I was looking at the radar and it showed our area as clear...  crazy weather for sure, in about a 1/2 hour or so I'll state cleaning it up, state with the roof and side walks and just go from there... have a good and safe day all!!!

Mornin gents, 17* to start our day. It looks like we might've got a 1/4" of snow, if that. Seen some early reports on WCCO that they had reports of 14" of snow in Monticello, I think it was. They also said that they had a report of a 60 mph gust in Rochester. Pretty windy here too, in fact I was wonderin if'n glenn hadn't snuck back up here , but nothing like that, maybe 25-30 mph. Not a lot exciting happening here, hope you have a good Tuesday & stay safe, if you need to travel.

Lotsa water in dis here snow. Melted it out and came up with .54" out of the 4" of snow. That included the "wintry mix" that fell just prior to it changing over to snow. Made a mess in the yard. Lotsa ruts.
