22* and light snow. The NWS (National wedder stupes) say we got 6" yday. Yappin' 3-4" more today. All on top of the the slush and ice glazed everything. Musta been one of those certain Downdrafts....

Before you guys send out a posse figured I better check in and let everyone know the coyotes didn't get us. Still snowing. Near as I could measure it we got ~9.2" in the past 24 hrs. Varies from 0 - 24+" around the yard & a bunch of it fell as sleet and miniature hail when it first started. It's a helluva mess any way you slice it. Biggest drifts are strategically placed in front of the garage & barns. Not going to fire up the tractor until the radar assures me I only have to clean stuff out once. Going to be a slow, tedious process trying avoid ripping stuff up.

Internet is working again, I think. When it was windier than hell yesterday I told the neighbor to climb up on his grain leg where the signal is beamed from to check it out. Also told him he may as well take the Christmas star up there while he was at it to save a trip. Always thinking of ways to help a guy out. Just the kind of guy I am.  :azn:

Told Reb I could bring the tractor with the chains on over to aerate his yard. Keeps turning me down. Geez, offer to help a guy out... :cheesy: Kinda figured you for a butt man Boober!  :sleazy:

What great neighbor friends do....that's my driveway getting blown out. Had to go over it twice due to the frozen slush underneath. He knows the last couple weeks I've had some worsening leg & spine problems, so I accepted help this time.  In return, told him to leave it here in the garage. He gets an oil change, shoes adjusted, check over, lube, gas and carb drained, cylinder fogged, and ready to store for the Summer, when I can do it.   :smiley:

I really think this weather has the birds all confused...right after my driveway was blown out, I had flocks of Robin's hittin and pecking at the bare spots in the driveway and steps. In fact, they're all over the back deck now, too. We had bare ground, the Robin's returned and were able to find food on the warm bare ground, now it's all covered up.   :huh:

Got to work in Kato, put in 12 hrs and then back home to clean my yard out. Lotsa snow, I'd say a foot or more. Now I can get cleaned up and go back to work again. I might be getting too old for this #$%#.

Well if roony has cleaned his yard and I see the neighbors at theirs, maybe I should start. Reb & Del keep sending little bands of snow this direction delaying my plans. Knock it off!  :angry2: I gotta get to town. Outta @sswipe, thistle seed, limes & club soda. Need to invest in a seltzer bottle and grow a lime tree I think. Birdies have been nuts the last couple days. Herds of juncos. Some even flying around in the barn. 1st time we've seen that.  :confused:

driveway and deck all cleaned up!!! :happy1: heck the deck is almost dry already. even blew out the NL's driveway. suns trying to peek threw too!!!!!!!! now if that wind would settle down. :pouty:

It's quit here, at least for now. Everything's white again, might've gotten 2-3" :snow3:. What's on the ground here now will be melted by early tomorrow as we're supposed to hit 40*

Wednesday: Snow and freezing rain likely before 8am, then snow likely between 8am and 3pm, then rain and snow likely after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 35. East wind 9 to 11 mph becoming north 20-30 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow accumulation of 5 to 8 inches possible.

Mornin boys, 23* & some more light  :snow5:, probably another 2" or so. Yday's was just about all gone within 4-5 hoirs of it quitin, today's won't hang either as it's supposed to get near 40* for us. Not much real pressing on the list for today, see what comes my way. Have a good 1 & be careful if'n you need to be on the roads today.

Morning boys. Not a snow flake up here. You can have it. I fished the last day of walleye season and it was slow. Looking like maybe 50ish this coming weekend. i will believe it when I see it. A person could still go pike fishing, but I do need to get going on some projects too. Have a good one boys!
