Morning boys. TGIF!!! big plans for the weekend for us is we are watching the 2 grandkids for the weekend. Hopefully the weather is better than forecast is showing. Now it is only showing 45 for a high tomorrow. We were hoping to do a little 4 wheeling and maybe take them out shooting too. Otherwise, just another day in paradise. Have a good one!

Mornin gents, 36* to start our day. Looks like we might've had a few sprinkles :happy1:, 1/2 way expected the ground to be a little white since glenn is expected to be in the neighberhood later. ;) Only mid 40's for today, they're sayin, so his good weather karma is still workin. It looked to me like some of the seasonal people are starting to show up around here as every place we went in GR was a lot busier than they were last week. We got back out here about 2 so I had time for a little more yard work, lots of sticks down. Probably a little more of the same today. It looks like the shoreline has opened up all the way around the bay in the last day or so. Hope you enjoy your Friday.

Mornin'! 40 at choretime so we're heading the right direction. Some small grain patches may go in soon but a little dampish in many fields going to corn. Still frost in the ground in places, especially on north facing slopes, north sides of groves. etc. Moved a round bale last nite and ground was froze solid underneath yet. Couldn't get the bale wrap pulled out of it. That's OK, lots of other crap to clean up. Battling a nasty spring cold. Supposed to go for a cruise tomorrow but not sure I'll feel up to it. Tuckers me out.

Morning all.
Got the new shingles shot yesterday (first of two shot series)  felt sort of crummy after that and a blood donation.

Better today, got to get some stuff done, maybe whack a couple of buckthorns.   Chainsaw  Roar!

Afternoon gents!! Easy does it del, maybe grab a beer instead of the power tools  :happy1:. I hear ya dotch on tge crud going around, just don't let the Mrs catch ya, you'll really be tuckered.  The frost finally left the raised garden bed on Tuesday, rolled it and fertilized part of it then planted 4 rows of lettuce with 2 rows of radishes. Going to service both mow lawners tomorrow , the front yard is plenty dry so I might dethatch but the back has been dethatced already from the pooch so no need there, then some fertilizer and LOTS of grass seed... Think it's time fer a cold one!  See ya!

chainsawed a couple of buckthorns, went to FF and Menards, had a nap, now time for the beer.

Hey Reb, this guy isn't related to you is he?
"Police at the time suspected they were chasing a fellow cop or armed services member because he was so methodical and meticulous, said Wendell Phillips, a former Sacramento deputy who joined the hunt "

"No one who knew DeAngelo over the decades connected him with the string of crimes throughout California from 1976 to 1986.

DeAngelo worked nearly three decades in a Sacramento-area supermarket warehouse as a truck mechanic, retiring last year. He was known by neighbors in suburban Citrus Heights for keeping his lawn manicured and cussing loudly."

Nope, heard his lawn had spotted-spurge. That's what made him cuss.. Couldn't have been related.

Mornin guys, 27* the last I looked. Well, we survived the little blue guy's return to the neighborhood, but barely. ;) :rotflmao: Think I saw 48* for the high, the NW wind pick up about 11-11:30, then came the rain around lunch time. Coulda been worst though as some to the north & east of us had up to 6" of :snow3:  The morning was actually pretty nice so we got a few things done early & took it easy from there. A bit warmer today & the wind goin back to the south, they're sayin. Not much else, hope ya have a good un.

Morning.  I see stuff floating on the river so that means it came up a bit and is floating stuff off the islands and shorelines.  That is good news as my dock is sitting on the ground.  This will lift the shore ice so I can turn my dock out into the river.  After this cup of coffee from out new Keurig I will go check it out.  Then we are going to I Falls shopping.  I see they have T-bones for $5.99 lb.  I am going to see if I can get a loin cut up.  Then we bring it home and vac pack them individually.  Gonna be a great day.

They had 3 T-bone loins left.  They cut them all for putting on the shelves.  They gave me over 20 lbs of the Porterhouses.  1 1/8" thick.  $5.95 a lb.  Unreal deal.  I am good for awhile now.   :mooning:  Guess whats for supper????

Morning comrades. 35* here and headed for upper 60's.  70's to start the week off with rain and T-storms, say the W. Morjits. Hope they're right for once, it'll get that seed and fertilizer off to a nice start. Got the red rocket fired up yday and took a spin around the driveway thru the gears to make sure everything was working as it should. All set to mow the back 40.
Got  a nice sunrise this am for ya to gaze at while munchin' those Cheerios, Barry... :coffee:
