Ya, I'd think ya would! Silicone is good stuff in Minnysoda. Spray the door seals, locks, hood cable, and rubber door/tailgate gaskets with it in late Fall, and yer doors will never freeze shut....or yer hood. I spray it around and on my overhead garage door gaskets, too. Keeps that bottom one pliable in winter.

Mornin boys, 40* now. I woulda swore glenn musta snuck back in the neighborhood yday, as WINDY as it was. ;) :rotflmao: Had to make at least the low 70's here. Seen a early report today that the ice might even be all gone out on the main lake. :happy1: I'm sure that they started netting & taking spawn over on Cutfoot yday, maybe even Thursday. Expect a few more places havin people around this weekend. Still workin on getting the rollout in the water, no big hurry, might as well let the water warm up a little. Hope you have good weekend.

Mornin'! Was about 45 when I started chores and is up to about 60 already. Heading for low 80's. Hauling some cats to the little neighbor girls this a.m. Barn was starting to look like a cat house!  :sleazy: Head to Clarks Grove for Ruby's shots then on to Hope for some sheep feed. Get fence operational at the neighbors then get the mowers ready to go. Man I need to hire some help to get all this stuff done!  :happy1:

I heard they are done with the egg gathering on Vermilion.  Got the jars full in like 2 days.

Mornin gents, got 43* to start the day. Bet they were done in record or near record time over there too, Del. Not sure how many qts. they wanted this year, it's normally ~ 700-800, I think. I read where they said the eggs they took on Vermilion where very healthy looking as well, that's good as that is where the DNR gets them to stock this lake. No DNR stocking here this year but the lake assoc. is paying(~ $11,000) to have it done. That will buy 950,000 fry & with matching funds from a private donor there will be almost 2,000,000 fry going in. :happy1: Looks to be another nice day in the works, then 80-85* for tomorrow, cooling off some after that to around 60. Hope you enjoy your Sunday

Morning all. 55* and sunny here, headed for a lower 72*. Hit 82* yday. Had some terrific short lived t-storms last nite, with some tremendous lightning cracks and thunder. Wind came up, temp dropped 11* degrees, and received a downpour of rain a bit under 1/4". Lasted about 30 mns. Of course, it blew good and splatted up the picture window and all the others I'd washed yday..... Nothing going on today, even have plenty of leftovers so I don't have to cook. Have a good one, guys...... :coffee:

Mornin'! 55 at choretime and on our way to the mid-70's for a high. Some raindrops this a.m. Dampened the sidewalk but nothing measurable. One of the cats I hauled to the neighbors damn near beat me home. Was back this morning again. Hauled some to another neighbor this a.m. Guessing they'll be back too. More clean up before lawn mowing can commence. Had a rose breasted grosbeak at the jelly feeder this a.m. but no orioles, yet. Lots of goldfinches and trees really popped since yesterday. Won't be long. Have a good one!  :happy1:

All of a sudden we have orioles and hummingbirds! I saw 4 orioles this morning. Last Wednesday I saw my first rose-breasted grosbeak over at my mom's.

You must be feeding higher quality jelly than I do roony...

Did see a gray catbird at the jelly feeder before noon so figure it's only a matter of time. Haven't seen any of the cats back here yet so fingers crossed... :cheesy:

Good afternoon.  Had a great time at my brothers at Ottertail this weekend.  He has lots of martins, wood ducks, mallards, and Canada geese that come right into his yard.  Fun as heck.  We golfed 9 holes and it wasn't pretty but a lot of fun.  Later had cocktails around the fire.  Did I mention we had fun???

Saw what maybe was a grosbeak today for about 2 seconds.  Also have a hummmmingbird and a pair of orioles.  I now have a red nectar feeder for the hummmmers and an orange colored feeder for the orioles, although they also will use the red one.  And I put out jelly and toasted mealworms in a little saucer on the deck rail.

Tomorrow gonna throw some 10 10 10 on my collection of trees.   Almost time to mow as well.

Planted thyme, basil, rosemary, sage, thai basil, parsley, etc in some tubs as well

Morning boys. Hope da weekend was good. the ice on the lake is moving around and looks pretty soft. A good wind and i think it would smash it up. But, of course it has been calm all weekend. Another fine Monday ahead. Have a good one.

Mornin guys, got 45* here. Finally put the roll out in the lake yday :happy1: but still need to figure out how deep we need to put it  & get the decking on it. Today's project, hopefully, trying to stir up some rain too, as we got the pump down at the shore runnin. They're talkin 80's for us today then 70's tomorrow with a pretty good chance of some rain by afternoon. Cooler thru Thursday & Friday then back to 60's for the weekend. Hope ya have a good Monday.
