Mornin' gang! 68 at choretime heading for 85 this afternoon. Got the hay knocked down yesterday forenoon. Was touch & go in spots so left a sliver on one end where it was too wet. Just hoping we can get it dry before the monsoon returns. Have a good one!  :coffee:

Yup Ganja time for the Boarski.  Jamaica Man...   Well this retirement is great!  I just got out of bed.   LOL  I am just kidding.  Got up at 6 as usual so I could have coffee with the wife before she left for work.  Actually I had a Dr. appt this morning so just got back from that.  Think I will relax in the AC and make some Ice Rigs today as I settle into this new lifestyle.

Morning all. Up early to head to the ceme to water flowers before the inferno hits. Humidity is already 96% in Swampville. Morjits say record-breaking dewpoints in the mid 70's and 110-115 heat index, with a temp of 97*. I'm stayin' in! My fishing buddy called last nite and actually asked me if we would dare go out on the river this afternoon.....not! Said he heard it was gonna be hot....:doah: I found a deal on my bacon yday...$2.99 lb, so guess what's for bfast with the eggs and toast? :azn: Hang loose and keep a cool tool today, guys.

Did that system have some energy, last TV warning I seen said 75 mph winds & that it was movin that fast as well. Power blinked but the generator never kicked in. Still got some thunder & lightnin goin on. Stay cool & dry today, boys & I hope ya have a good 1

Awoke this morning to a severe Thunderstorm warning.   We survived fine, lift canopy is still there, no hail damage, trees still standing.   Storm passed through and is now clobbering the folks on down the road to the east.

Heat is just what's needed as we head out on a weeks vacation (I know, it's hard to call it vacation when you are retired) at a lake.  Fishing, eating, boating, playing games, catching up with old friends and just plain doing nothing.   :fish2:

Morning guys, 70* and sunny to start the day with 98% humidity and going to 95. My weekend off and I'm still up by 3:30 without an alarm so I got the car washed, waxed and the inside detailed already before it got too hot. The day will consist of golf and beer, sitting around and beer or rails to trails then a few beers. I think y'all can see the one thing that I'll be doing. Have a good day and keep cool.
if you kick me when I'm down you better pray I don't get up.

Man Coffee that is already a days worth for you.  Well as we were sitting here last night all of the sudden the wife says "there's a bear".  Must be the same bear the neighbor got a pic of a couple of weeks ago.  Had the same partial upright posture.  Tall and thin.  He has a bad front right leg so makes him look tall as he hops on the left leg.  How cool is that?  He crossed the yard by the river heading east.  There is lots of woods on both sides of us.  Can't see any neighbors.  Heading to the Falls today for some shopping.  Fun way to spend the day.
