Morning fellers, gotta go in for my semi annual blood draw this morning. Then off to work. Gonna be one of those Mikey weekends. :sleazy.

Was a tough night last nite. Finally got up enough courage to clean out the corner of the closet my lab always laid in. Man that was tough.

Morning kiddos. 31* and headed for sleet/snoooooow today. Not one single candy grubber at my door last nite. The entire neighborhood turned off their ligts.....now THAT was a first! Same people here for years that always did decorations and handed out oodles of candy. I think everyone is just plain tired it...and the $10 bags of candy ya haveta buy. I think it may become a forgotten tradition. Too bad, that was just about my favorite "'holiday" when I was a kid. What kid didn't live for Halloween nite?
No plans today, lunch with my buddy I'm helping move outta CAWchester, then just slack it for the rest of the day.....take it easy, guys.

Morning boys.  Halloween was last night???  SO the 3 bags of candy are safe with me then..   :sleazy:  Snickers, Milk Duds, and mini Tootsie Rolls.  Ya there are so many weirdos putting things in the candy that I think they are scared to go to houses they don't know.  What a change from when we were kids and people wouldn't think of doing anything bad like that.  Maybe a harmless Ex Lax in a piece of candy to one of your best buddies but no big deal.  LOL  Got the plow on the truck yesterday.  Today I think I will send out some more Vikes winners prizes just so I have an excuse to bring Buddy for a ride to town.  Sammy can't get in the truck anymore.  He stays home now.  He is still a happy dog though.  Thinking of youse Glenn.  Have a great day.

Morning.  I bought one bag of snickers.  We haven't had any kids stop by our house or any house in our street.  This has been for the last 10 years.  Before that we had only some kids from our street.  Now they are all grown up and gone for the most part.  Got a bag anyway thinking maybe with the new houses built behind us [used to be all woods] there might be some with little kids.  I remember toward the end we had only one kid show up.  I gave him the whole bag.  His eye's popped out of his head.  Maybe I should go around that new neighborhood and pass out some viagra so they get going.  Or better yet maybe the guy's on our street need it more now LOL.  good luck.

The wife has mentioned maybe we should think about smaller dogs.  BUT they have to be able to get in a boat.  Hard to change...

Mornin' gang! 32 at choretime heading for a high in the low 40's. Had 3 trick or treaters last nite and the wife made a couple more bags of candy for me to deliver this a.m. Still plenty of leftover goodies at home. Hauled some lambs into the locker plant this a.m. & busy doing office stuff, scanning maps in and doing recs. This printer/scanner is definitely female. Gets bucky if it thinks it's working too hard and doesn't put out! Maybe if I dump some gin in it...

Hey guys, I'm OK & finally back in Ia as of about 11 AM today. We've been in Austin since 10/24 as we lost Mom. She fell & never recovered. The funeral was Monday so we were busy making the arrangements last week & we talked to a lawyer early this week about getting the estate/probate started. Been a crazy, tough week & some of the family had to return to work Tuesday, so we came home. Besides we needed a break & as of now have no plans of going back to Austin until at least mid- week next week. I tried to e-mail glenn before we left the lake a week ago yday so he could let everyone know what was going on but he must not have gotten it. Should've pm'ed him instead.

Thanks guys, your awesome!! Bumped into most of my friends down here last night at HH & the majority of them already knew as the bartender lives with 1 of my closest buddies & he was a pallbearer. Still was a tough night but it needed to be done. But it's a new day today & we've got 32* last I looked. Headed towards 40, I guess. We've got lots of leaves down too but I don't think I'll be messing with them today. We had some flurries early AM yday up in Austin as well & it was even flakin some here yday afternoon. I'm not sure we drove by even 1 cornfield comin home yday that didn't have a combine in it. There's so much out there yet that I'll bet some went most of the night. All I've got today, hopin your Saturday's a good 1
