Morning boys. 20 here heading for 30s again today. It was nice to see you and the pooches last night Barry. I don't think we barely got out of your driveway and Linda was asking me if there were anymore of those puppies left. :rotflmao: Cooper certainly is a cutie for sure and Buddy is one heck of a nice pooch too. We do miss having a dog, but I just think with being gone all day long at work. Now just is not the time. Thank you again for the fridge. That will work perfect to replace the one at the hunting shack. We even treated ourselves to Mcdonalds(if you want to call it that) on the way home. Otherwise just another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Mornin guyz, sure is mild, talk about 40degrees later, plan on cleaning up scattered snow piles before we get nailed tomorrow  with 3-6"s forcasted, hopefull we get more rain than snow.

Back at my farm in sodak neighbor said it was 50degress yesterday raining all day, atv's and sxs's busted through our local sloughs icefishing,no good...its either icefish or head out with a 30 pak and road hunt rooster's and coyotes for these farm boyz, not much else to do mid winter.

My wife complained this morning about winter being so long up here. My response was it has not even started yet. Been so warm.

Morning boys.  Good to see you and the wife too JB.  Man that is a nice looking truck.  Carla said don't you even think about it.  LOL   Really like our new appliances.  It was time.  Off to the landfill today to get rid of the old stuff this morning.  Just me and Buddy.  He (we) need time alone from the little tyke.  The sun is shining and looks to be another awesome day.  Loving this for Jan.  Sure makes winter easier.  I need to get back into my fishing schedule.  Maybe this afternoon.

Mornin' gang! 32 at choretime heading back up into the low 40's. Made 43 for a high here yesterday. Got the last load of chit cleaned out of the main barn yesterday after lunch. Tight quarters so had to be careful not to rip things up. Struggled to get it all on one load but I made 'er. Heavy stuff, made the tractor growl. Glad the wind stayed W-SW. When I got out of the cab to shut off the beaters & run the apron chain, it smelled almost like someone died. Sounds like snow's on the way so better get ready to do battle with that. Ta ta!

I'll take the snow, the lake was down quite a bit this past fall, that freezing rain is a bugger tho.

Looks like we might get some of that freezing rain. Seen the tanker truck with the chemical to get rid of ice go by on the county road while I was sitting on the lake this afternoon. Didn't get any fish, worked on my tan, had a cigar and had a cold beer. What a wonderful afternoon.  :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys. 31 and some rain this morning. Pretty crazy these temps and rain in the middle of January. Sounds like the snow will hit later this afternoon and most of tomorrow. I went out and cranked my big fish house up off of the ice last night. Should help the snow to blow underneath instead of creating the donut hole around it. We shall see. Plan to move it out deeper anyway. Well, just another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Morning boys.  Some sleet rain but not much.  Looks like this afternoon it will get heavier.  I should raise my fish house some too. The weight of the new snow will add weight on the ice.  Got no fish last night.  Still was fun to be there.  Just gonna work around here today.  Need to do a quick run to town also.  You all have a good day and be careful on the road.

Mornin gang, we had 30* & a light drizzle when I was out ~ 7:30. There was a little  :snow5: mixed in with it when I was out around 6:30, sounds like 32* will be the high for us. We left home ~ 1:30 yday mornin & pulled in here a little after 9. Not too bad considering we tried another new route & stopped 4 times. Sure am  :happy1: we're not traveling today as I just seen a freezing rain advisory for Lakeville. Parked over at the new neighbors to shorten our walk in. Had the usual re-opening chores before we jumped on the wheeler & blower, that took close to 1 1/2 hours. Probably close to 10-12" of some crusty stuff to move so it wasn't too bad & with this today we didn't clean it up real good. There was 1 person out on the bay early yday & a couple more joined him about 3, they stayed until almost dark. Not sure what's in store for my day today , got a few things in mind & a couple of 'em are even outside. Have to see where the day leads me, have a good 1.
