:happybounce: :party1: It worked!! We just had ~ 1 hour of a nice steady rain.  Didn't look like much more than .1" in the gauge when I was just out, but we'll take it. That looks to be the end of it for us today. :pouty:

jerkbiat, Keep us informed on how things go with the boat purchase.  A friend of mine is looking at that same boat.
I will let ya know. There are not to many out there of that length. think I only found 3 between minny and cheese land.

Morn...er, evening gang! 51 at choretime & topped out at 61. Felt more like 41. Long day holding farmer's hands, reassuring them & talking them down off the ledge. I shoulda been a shrink cuz somedays I sure feel like one. Got thru car club last nite w/no major incidents. When you have several members over 80 you start to wonder. I did win the pot, something I rarely do so there was that. Several of us will be attending the roll in on Saturday for Arik Matson so am looking forward to that. The fire dept. will be making their world famous onion rings and the beer garden will be open. If there are any insect pests in the house, they will be dead the next day!

Mornin' gang! 52 at choretime heading for a high in the low 70's. A few sprinkles yesterday so that goes down as a trace at both the ranch & in Bugtussle. Need to go dig some corn up at the neighbors. At this rate these guys won't have anything left if they don't quit calling me. They need to get some livestock. Then they'd know what real problems are & stop worrying about things no one can control. Otherwise, getting feed today as Monday's gonna be another day from hell. At least I slept like a rock last nite. Prolly need to make a swing by the meat market & make jaunt to Cashwise. Someone must've hacked the gin pipeline to my house!

Morning boys. 54 here heading for I think 70ish again. Yes Mike the sunrise pick was taken from our living. Well, made the trip to Moorehead and back. The papers are signed. I think we will be able to pick it up next Friday. Will find out for on Monday. Swung thru Grand Forks on the way back and visited with the kid and his wife. Also had lunch with the mil before we left Moorehead. The wife enjoyed a visit with her mom. Made it home sometime between 7 and 8 last night. So todays 1st project will be getting our current boat ready to sell. Otherwise just another day in paradise. Have a good one boys.

Mornin all, 49* here presently & they're talkin ~ 75* for our high. Went out  :fishing: again last night, sure was nice out there. Had some action too but they where bitin a little short so no :fish2:. Did keep a couple nords in the AM & the 1st one was pretty nice(26+") for this lake so it may get released later on. Quite a few over at the resort but they're not full as the 3 units on this end are empty. I agree with glenn  :doah: :bonk:     you won't have your old boat very long, JB. I see more time on the water today, other than that, we'll see. Have a good day!

Morning boys.  Just came in from our camping trip on the Canadian border.  LOL  Was great weather.  Gonna get hot today.  I think I may do a rack of ribs today.  JB, I haven't seen any asparagus poking up yet but will check my spots today.  Good news on your new boat.  I googled your model.  Nice boat.  What is your old one?  Went fishing twice yesterday.  In the morning had some little ones biting only caught one.  Little sauger.  Took the wife out in the afternoon and caught a few but too small.  SO just left the dock and the screen on my Lowrance Hook Triple shot went white and says STOPPED.   :angry2: :angry2:  Talked to the dealer and walked me through the Restart a couple of times.  No luck.  Darn it.  Now I have to call Lowrance tomorrow.  Not looking forward to the response time of that call.  I bought new so I wouldn't have these problems.  GGRRR!.

Mornin' gang! 59 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-70's. Finish mowing the lawn & hopefully get the garden worked down. Watered the morning glories after chores as we've been missing the spotty showers recently. Good for you JB! Enjoy! Hope you don't have birthdays sitting on hold Barry.

We just went and checked our fence lines.  Ended up with a dozen stalks of nice asparagus.  Our bigger patch is always the latest to produce.  Nothing was there.  Found a couple of new spots too.
