Mornin' gang! 12 at choretime heading for a high in the low 30's. Some possible weather heading in later so a bunch of things to get done including but not limited to docking tails & immunizing lambs, buttoning the lambing barn up after letting it air out a couple days, loading & hauling the skidsteer back to the neighbors then plopping another bale in the lot. As I say, fun never stops...

Happy Birthday to your mom roony!  :happy1: :party3:

-5 this morning in International Falls. No wind. Had a doe come into the birdfeeder about 7 this morning. I started to switch chairs to get a better look but spooked her. To bad Baker Mayfield is so bad otherwise Peckers would have went down again yesterday.

Doing a couple thick cut Pork Chops on the grill and watching football today I guess. Rumor has it we might get some snow today.

Stay safe.

Going to clean off the driveway with new blower first thing after coffee this morning. deadeye and dotch, I have a sneaking hunch after today there will be a cab getting ordered. I have to go to my local dealer tomorrow to pay for the mower deck and I'll see what the price is and IF I can get one. Other than that have a great Sunday, later.... :happy1: :happy1:

DB it's a three cylinder Kubota diesel, 23hp. 116 hours on the unit. Me likey so far.  Have a great day everyone. Later...:happy1: :happy1:
Spent many a day in my greenskeeper career, ~35-40 years ago, on a Kubota fairway mower that had that same motor mark. Our only issues then were because the fuel gauge didn't work right and/or the battery was old. Do they still have a solenoid on the fuel line & 2 sets of injectors on 'em? Great litle motor, think you'll really like it, nice find.

Morning boys.  I do mean morning too cuz I just got up.  Cooper stayed in bed with me and Buddy got up to watch Hallmark porn with the wife.  Cooper is feeling pretty good cuz he was able to pick up both slippers at the same time for me this morning.  Something he tries to do but doesn't work all of the time.  Man Dotch, you need a hired man.  Too bad Glenn got a job already.  lol  He could have stayed in the spare bedroom a couple nights a week.   :cheesy:  Happy Birthday to Mom Rooney.  Hope the cab thing works out for you Markn.  Man this coffee is good.  I just ran out of honey from the wife's sister out in Nodak so went back to my honey from Warroad.  The Warroad stuff is sweeter I think.  It is 6 below here now.  Hope you get some fish JB.  Ya Mayfield has been playing with a bad left shoulder I think it is.  Sure was hoping they would win against GB.  I loaded up the Ranger with firewood yesterday and stocked up the garage so that worked out great.  We went for a ride and the wife drove yesterday and she liked it.  Hope I didn't create a monster.  lol  Well time for another cup so see ya later.  Enjoy your Christmas presents today.   :sleazy:

Round 1 got here last night and gave us about 4 inches. Round 2 is just arriving. Supposed to get 6-10 overnight. Round 3 will get here tomorrow night. Another 2-4 inches. Then into the deep freeze Down to -20 to -25 on Thursday. Winter has finally arrived here.

The county plow truck just went by. Not too sure how much snow we got, there's a 12-14" drift in front of the garage door and some frozen rain on the picture window. Both face to the East. I'm guessing around six to eight inches. Well in my defense I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing yesterday and drove over the edge of the driveway on my maiden trip out with the Kubota and got stuck. Had to use the pick up to get it out by myself, thanks for all of the help Mike. Definitly going to look into a cab. That "powdered donut" thing isn't any fun. One more cup of coffee and then it's out to plow and blow the driveway out so the wife can go to work. Later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Holy snowy/rainy monday morning....looks like you guyz up nord are getting more than your fair share of snow throughout the day today.

got up around midnight to let the pup out,had about 4"s with real time weather said another 3-4"s on the way,fired-up the wheeler to get a head start plowing out the driveway, stepped out the door, was greeted by steady rain, almost did a cannon ball off the steps, very slippery.

Drive to town was treacherous, roads wet from the rain, now the wind is picking up,temps dropping,,,,gonna be a bumper car monday morning I suspect.

Mornin peoples,  felt great to sleep in. 33 here with maybe 3" of snow over night. We need it tho,  tge kid and I walked out on a local snow free lake yesterday and everyone wearing spikes and dragging gear was super loud, no wonder fishing was slow. Gonna switch out the battery in the truck I'm thinking this week , 6 years is a good run. Anywho,  See ya!!

Mornin guys, we have 33* & that's about the high for the day. Windy again & wet, luckily it appears it didn't get cold enough to freeze overnight. Snow tomorrow for us  but I'm only seeing 1-3" in the forecast so far. Got a couple things on the radar for later today. Hopin your Monday's a good 1.

Plow update. Blew out in front of new garage enough to get pick up out, turned around and the Boss plow on it. Then got enough snow moved so the Mrs. can leave and go to work. Now drink coffee and wait for enough daylight to see better. Plowing in the dark (for me) means a call to the tow company to get me unstuck. The drifts in front of the garages were thigh, almost hip deep on a normal sized Norwegian.  :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys.  Snowing and some wind here.  Not too bad though.  I would say 4" tops here at the moment.  I think after my Raisin Bran that I will go out and do my chores and maybe fire up the plow truck and move what we have so far.  My brother near Ottertail said he cleared 3" off his drive yesterday and measured 9" there now.  Still coming down there too. Well you all take it easy and don't overdo it.

Mornin' gang! 32 at choretime, temps falling the rest of the day, down to about 20 by 5 p.m. Glad Christmas is over. Just another weekend of work at home since I was around. Yesterday, got the lambing barn buttoned up (PITA) then tried to start my buddy's skidsteer. No go. Put the charger on it for 3 hrs. & it commenced. Loaded 'er up, dumped it off at Bob's and took the trailer back. Docked & immunized the lambs, stuffed some bags of wool in the east door of the main barn to keep the snow out then plopped a round bale in the lot. Ready for it to snow, almost. Chains on the tractor were packed full of mud from hauling chit so after moving water tanks around, spent part of Christmas Day trying to knock the frozen mud off those & scraping the hunks up around the yard with my skidsteer. Got most of it. Fingers crossed as a big hunk of frozen dirt = a rock when it comes to shearing pins on a snow blower. Yup Barry, I could use a hired man or at least someone to help once in a while. It would sure make stuff go faster.

Nice work there markn, plowing so your wife can go to work while you sit and drink coffee planning your next retirement adventure.   :rotflmao:
I'm not sure how the snow blower will handle the 4 inches of heavy wet snow. I hope it blows and doesn't constantly get clogged up.

Sure a sweet little unit mark n. Think my sister has one just about like it. Hope you can find a cab. I hear ya about moving snow in the dark. I probably won't get stuck (800# of fluid/rear wheel, a cab, bucket, blower & heavy duty chains) but it's kinda clumsy in tight spots. There's still no telling what I might smack into even though I can light things up pretty well. Surprising too how much wet snow I can put thru my blower sometimes. Been out to plug in the tractor at nite many times shaking my head at the sticky wet snow. By morning if it's cooled down, it usually goes thru better than expected. Not overpowered with ~60 hp & 7' of blower.
