Happy friday (TGIF),only in minnesota,35 degrees/lite rain out the door...cleaned up the sloppy snow last night at 10 pm,sure was warm, wearing shorts/sweatshirt ,figured it would be bullet proof by this evening with temps dropping to sub zero.

news this morning said it was a bumper car after 3pm yesterday, accidents, spin outs in the metro, folks better take care of they're ride best they can, shortage of new and used cars and high prices these days, now with the truck issue in canada sounds like new car deliveries to dealers has all but stopped,my sources tell me this issue will effect consumers until 2023,yikes!

stay warm this weekend fellers.

Morning boys.  I concur with JB.  I think 4" sounds about right.  Kind of hard to tell with the wind but it really snowed yesterday for awhile.  It is so windy here that at times I can barely see the fish house on the river.  I will wait till it dies down before I plow too.  I watched the wife and she made it out the driveway this morning.   :happy1:  SO I think that calls for an extra cup of coffee.  They have 85% burger on sale for $3.99 so I want to get a 10 lb chub of it today.  I will make my International Famous Spaghetti tonight.   :sleazy:  Will package the rest of it.  Well be careful if you are shoveling today.  We want to talk to you tomorrow too.

Mornin gang, we have 10* & on our way to 13*, I guess. Not sure of the total snow but I stuck my head out the garage door ~ 6:30 & it was still spittin a little here. Did manage to get the sled started & out of its snowbank yday early. Probably get my gear on & make 2-3 trips down the drive just in case we need to get out. Fedex,UPS, & the USPS all like it when the drive is manageable too. That could be it for the day, hopin your Friday's a good day. Be careful out there.

Temps fell steadily overnight down to 2 here in International Falls. As JB said the wind is howling from the North. Funny how this winter has been cold & snowy compared to last years mild winter. Oh well, days are getting longer and the sun stronger, thats all I care about.

Stay safe.

Mornin' gang! 35 at choretime with temps falling the rest of the day. Wind came up after 7 so at least there will be more crap to pick up under the trees. .02" of rain/snow/graupel melted out at the ranch. Still thawing the gauge in town. Need to finish an article today I've been working on for a few weeks. Someone dropped in late yesterday afternoon when I was in the groove. Thought I should drop everything to solve his silly @$$ problem. Then he pissed on my leg & cut back on some of the acres we'd been dealing with after doing extra to help them this last summer. Totally ruined my focus so have to regroup today. Retirement sounds like a better idea all the time. Really getting sick of some people's crap. Why I like dogs more all the time. :happy1: Did you get your heat issue resolved Barry? Will take a lot of basketti to warm the house up otherwise.

The igniter that I replaced last year failed.  He should be bringing another one this morning.  I just put 2 qts of oil in the plow truck and the wind just about sucks your breath away.  Buddy who is 12 now couldn't get back in the house fast enough.  Today my Brother is making bets for us on the Super Bowl at the Larchwood Ia. Casino.  Look at www.fredsbets.com  click on "more bets" on Rams and Bengals deal to see all of the fun bets they have.  I am going Rams so keep you fingers crossed for me.  Off to the store to get that hamburger deal.

Da wifey called me a couple of hours ago and asked me I can go help out one of her coworkers. Who ever is plowing their driveway doesn't have anymore room for the snow. They are having trouble getting out now. So I will be bringing me skidsteer over there to move the snow for them. That may push beer o clock back a couple of hours.  ;)

I am filling my snow storage areas too.  So when I started my plow truck it was 1 degrees and there was water running down the side of my truck from snow melting.

thats a big part of the reason I went to a snow blower...  don't need to worry as much about where it's got to go...  I remember those years too!!!

Same here, although it's nice to have the loader on the tractor & skidsteer for supplemental snow removal. I can use them to build snow piles to protect the yard from the SE wind. Some winters the yard got pretty full by March and it'd fill in like crazy on later storms. Now I can push the heavy March snow back if I don't feel like blowing it. There's all kinds of room & it's gone in a matter of a few weeks, usually.

Brrr -29 this morning in International Falls. Little 1 mph wind from the South.
The plan today is to hunker down and watch for fish reports from Glenn.

Stay safe.

Morning boys.  -25.8 here right now.  I told the wife she better enjoy it cuz only 1 more night of this sterilizing cold.  She just laughed and said "you said that last week".  LOL  I do have to go out to stoke the fire and feed the equines so it will be at a fast pace.  This is good weather to train the dogs to come when they are outside. They haul azz after done with their business.  Can barely finish before they are lifting a cold paw.  Yes Dutch, how did Rebs used to say that?  I will live vicariously through Glenn in the fish house today.  He can tell us how much fun it is.  I hope that guy has a good heater.  With Glenn farting from his beer it should help warm the shack up too.  LOL  Well enjoy the day.  Gonna be a watch Ozarks today I am sure.  See ya later.
I also wonder if they share the same bed.  I wonder if Glenn is the spooner or the spoonee.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Morning boys. -25 here yet this morning heading for -2 for a high I think. Haven't been out to the fish house yet. Didn't get out there last night since we were doing the snow moving job for my wife's friend and I only got half done last night. Running the lights and heater in the skid steer finally drained the battery and had to quit. Going to go back and finish up this morning. I need to figure out the alternator issue. Hard to tear into it though when I am constantly using it to haul wood or move snow. It has been in the garage with the charger on it all night. So hopefully that will get me thru. At least I won't need to run the lights today. That should help me out. Well, I hope da Smurf is catching some fish. She is nipply out there, but the wind is light so far. Good luck Glenn. Have a good one boys.

The neighbor up the road is already sittin on his bucket out in front of his place this morning  & he spent all afternoon yday out there too. Have yet to see him drag even an Otter sled let alone a tent out there & this is at least the 3rd time he's been out there since we came up. I don't need any :fish2: that bad!! Nothing on the list yet, have a good day!!

He's calling YOU for advice? His phone break and your number is the only one he can remember?

Just kidding, I couldn't catch a fish in a aquarium.
