DB, I bought this battery (Intersate) at a local business. If you need six of them I’d check out a battery dealer or implement dealer for 8v batteries.

Morning boys. Getting to hit the road for Isanti. 35 here and heading for 45 today. Da wife's sister told her that we can't go to get the stuff they agreed upon because there sister needs to be there. She wouldn't say why. We are going anyway. Let the fun begin. I knew this would turn into a chit show eventually. Guess we will get about 12 hours of windshield time today. Well, you boys have a good one today.

Morning boys.  41 here this morning.  I hear pheasants now and then.  Been awhile since I have heard that.  Mom seemed pretty chipper last night.  Will take Dad to see her late afternoon today.  Man JB good luck on your trip.  People can be such a pain at times.  Hope it goes smooth.  Sure miss home but good to see Mom and Dad.  The wife and I facetimed yesterday and I would call Cooper and he jumped right in her lap trying to find my voice.  He was looking right at me on her phone.  LOL  Felt great.  I really miss him too.  You all have a good one.

Mornin' gang! 44 at choretime heading for a high in the low 50's. Made a cruise to a restaurant last nite I'd wanted to try, The Little Dandy east of LeCenter. It was excellent, the portions were huge & prices reasonable. We both brought home enough food for another meal. This a.m. the sheep were a real PITA. One was out, they knocked over a mineral feeder & a hay manger, tried to knock me over when I fed them & their electric fence was grounded out someplace. Got a surprise for them in the morning: Weaning & culling day has arrived, @$$holes!

Tad under 40 degrees this morning in International Falls. Light rain thats almost snow.     Took a ride to Thunderbird for lunch yesterday. They had 7 pumps going full bore trying to stay ahead of the flood waters. All the docks are under water. This is a very, very serious situation up here. People have been sandbagging their property for the last week. It seems to be a losing effort but they have to try.

There were about 75 rigs in line headed into Canada before the toll house at 2pm yesterday. Alot of those didn't have a boat so I think it's property owners heading across to check on things.

Stay safe.

Wow, lot going on here the past few days. Sorry to hear of health problems for your relatives. Also, good luck to JB on his pickup trip. This can be a mess. Garage sale is winding down. Very busy on Thursday. I may go turkey hunting with BIL tomorrow. I'm sure if markn doesn't find enough lumber he knows where to buy some. Maybe use all the lumber from the crates that contained all the equipment he's been buying.   :rotflmao: Cheers.

Morning boys. 44 here at home and supposed to get into mid 50s I think today. Oh boy it was a fun one yesterday.  We got there and the SIL and her husband were there. They were supposed to have other plans and that's why the SIL said we couldn't get the stuff yesterday. She needs to be there. Well the SIL starts yelling at the wife and the wife just started yelling back. I was glad she stood here ground. Her husband and I just stood back and kept quiet. The SIL was mean the whole time we were there. What a chit show over some damaged furniture when she is the one that got the 250k property. The property was put in her name back in 2013 to keep it in the family, but now it is flat out hers. I still think the wife and her brother still have a legal claim to the property if it was only put in her name to keep it in the family. And it is like she has laid claim to everything there when half of it belongs to the other 2. Sorry for the long rant boys I could go on way to long. And then to top it off, $320 for diesel fuel. Thanks POS Joe!! :angry2: Well you boys have a good one.

Sun is actually out here in International Falls!! I almost forgot what it looked like. 40 degrees with no wind right now.

JB, people are so damn disrespectful of the dead. Fighting over possessions. But I suppose thats what ya get if there isn't a will involved to lay it all out.

Me? I'm leaving each $10 for a beer and everything else (including property) is getting donated. They can lament over a beer what a cheap a$$ and idiot I was. I came into this world with nothing and thats how I'll leave.

Stay safe and have a great day boys!!

Stopped at Calbalas in Rodgers yesterday and got a pair of muck boots. Had a few beers at retirement party and then back to hotel. Fairly quite evening. Just had hotel breakfast and hopefully headed towards home soon. Have a great day everyone, later..... :happy1: :happy1:
Deadeye, the only lumber I have gotten so far is one crappy, busted up pallet the mower deck came on. Hopefully I have enough in the pile for a 4’ by 24’ elevated shelve so I get some seasonal stuff off the floor of the garage.

Morning boys.  40 here and a clear day.  JB I have been wondering how your adventure went.  That's too bad.  And all over nothing.  A buddy and I were going to go make a bet on the Vikes at the casino in Larchwood but they aren't doing NFL bets yet just USFL.  Scrapped that mission.  My have saved me some money.  LOL  Coffee is good today so think I will have another.  Have a good one.  JB how is the lake levels?  Good write up again in the Duluth paper on the flood.

Dutch, there is a will and they exuciter is not following it. That's where the rub starts. Just communicate the plan. Instead everything is underhanded like she is hiding something.

LPS, the lake is still coming up. Getting closer to the 2014 mark. The rise does seem to be slowing some though. Lucky for us we are up pretty high.

Mornin' gang! 45 with sprinkles at choretime heading for a high in the upper 50's. Waiting on help to arrive so we can get this weaning & culling process done. Still tired from yesterday's fencing, hay procurement & stacking. Getting too old for this nonsense. Good luck sorting all that out JB. Can pick your nose but not your relatives, especially those by marriage.

Morning boys. 45 here and heading for 60 today. Got some tinkering down around the place yesterday. Wanted to get the camper moved and put the fish houses in their summer spot. But never got that far. Took the skid steer and ripped out a big popple that always made it tuff to get the camper in and out. Other wise just another day in the salt mines. have a good one boys.

We ripped all of the gutters off the house yesterday afternoon. Now I'm going to pressure wash the fascia and sofetts today, hopefully get them painted tomorrow. Thursday I have a guy coming over to install new gutters and leaf guards on the house and new garage. Should keep me off the golf course and out of the boat for this week, maybe. Have a great day everyone, later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' gang! 42 at choretime heading for a high around 60. Overnight lows of 34 at the airport in Waseca, with 36 in both Owatonna & Albert's Leaf. Probably froze somewhere so I'm waiting for the first bored farmer to call about it. Got all the ewes and lambs weaned yesterday thanks to the help of a young man from Faribault. Just a fireplug of a guy and all muscle. Former wrestler, works construction & raises sheep himself. Quick & strong as an ox. In our handling system drum, sometimes he'd catch two or three lambs at a time and stuff them thru the gate. With all of us working at it, it only took a couple hours. That included loading a group and depositing them at the kindly neighbors pasture. Don't know what the wife paid him. Don't care. It was worth it. We both still have the COVID cough & we'd have been dead otherwise. Need to haul the culls to Zumbrota later this a.m. so that'll be a big load off my mind. Can focus on my real job a while altho as cold as it's been, crops are barely moving. Corn looked about the same size this a.m. as it did Friday.
