That's a bad deal JB. Hope things turn out for the best for those involved in the accident.

If it's the same Josh Urban he did some wiring for me when I first moved to I-Falls. These lakes will eat you if you let them. Do your drinking at home where you only need to worry about falling down steps. Thoughts and prayers to all concerned.

Mornin all, 66* here & 72* will be the high. It rained ~ 10 last night here but I couldn't find more than about .1" in the gauge, sprinkles early today too. Some thunder & lightning around midnight as well & that knocked the power out for more than 2 hours again. Sis & BIL will be coming down the driveway in the next couple hours or so as well. 'Bout it here, have a good 1.

Morning boys. 63 here and not supposed to get out of the 60s today. Going to do some projects this morning then go pick some blueberries this afternoon. Update on Nick. Buddy texted me last night that is pretty good friends with Nick. Sounds like he will survive but may lose his leg and arm on his left side. Not sure yet. Time will tell. Dutch that would be the same Josh Urban. He was an electrician when he worked at Marvin. Well, you boys have a good one.

Morning boys.  That looks great Jeff.  271!!!  Man you've been eaten good then.  LOL  So sad about those guys.  How big of a boat and motor were they in.  I can't imagine a motor running in the boat.  Probably bouncing all over the place.  Yikes!!  We had a great night camping last night.  Had a nice fire and there was enough wind to make it comfortable.  We cooked foil dinners over the fire with spuds, green peppers, carrots, onions and keilbasa with a lot of butter too in them.  Turned out great!  We even had to run for cover from rain under the awning once.  LOL  We have 4 skylights and the door window in our new camper so gets light real early in there.  I ordered some blackout curtains and they worked great.  They come with velcro so you just cut it to fit the window and then you can take them on and off easily.  Not very expensive neither.  Even came in the right sizes.  I slept till 8 so they work.  Not sure what the day will bring yet.  Still having coffee.   Have a great day you all.

i went to st cloud, Dr Ellis. a cold spring kid,  and foot specialist. not sure if they will make a mold of your feet or not, but they did mine and sent it out to get made. it might take some getting used to, mine did.

what weird was there called some typr of medical device????? something like that anyway, and wasnt covered by insurance  :doah: but since i was then diagnosed as somewhat diebetic.......the Insurance covered them........ wierd!!

I need to look into the foot thing to. I have no arch in my feet and my knees really get to hurting.
LPS I think the boat was a Pro V with a 200 hp motor on it. Had to rip the transom right off. I know Lund had some issues with the wood in the transoms rotten out. Wonder if that had anything to do with it doing that?

I was afraid of that.  That is one big motor bouncing around in a boat.  If that prop hit the floor imagine how it would be banging around in there?  My new boat doesn't have that wood inside the transom.  Glad about it.  Of course it is an aluminum boat. It is a 2000 model.

Afternoon gang! 71 at choretime and sticky. Heading for a high in the mid-80's. Thundershowers expected & there's round 1 setting about a half hour west of here. What a morning. Thought after seeing 38 Special last nite that my day today would be pretty much a piece of cake. After chores I sprayed the pasture fence at the neighbor's then came home to spray this one. Checked it to see if it was charging. Nope, so then needed to check it to see where/why it was grounded. Went in the lambing barn to unplug the fencer and found our ram dead in there. Sprayed the fence, checked it out, found nothing, decided it was just the wet weeds on it. As the dew came off it started to charge. Was definitely time to spray it. Dragged the ram out, composted him then planted 4 rows of fall garden stuff. Time for a break & some coffee, maybe a nap.

38 Special was great. Never had any of their albums but always appreciated their music. The lead singer/guitarist is all that's left of the original band but the replacements are talented musicians & they sounded great. Pleasantly surprised and thoroughly entertained.

So what da hell Dotch, sheep just up and die for no reason???

Some of them seem to have a death wish. This ram had pulled the same stunt a couple times before. He'd lay flat on his left side and then couldn't get up. He'd lay there and kick and flail and dig a hole from all his struggling. The prior two times we found him, got him up and after he got his feet back under him, he was fine. Happened once late winter and then earlier this summer. Didn't find him quite soon enough this time although he hadn't been dead long. Those are the really ugly ones to deal with. Usually involves use of a scoop shovel and a silage fork. Best done when not hung over... :puke:
