Well to start with after drinking 2 cases of Grain Belt you wouldn't be sober enough to drive the truck, no matter what size it was. Plus you would realize what beer tastes like vs that water you currently drink. But thats a whole nother subject.

It amazes me sometimes gunner that only 3 hours south of here, it's a whole 'nother planet like that. My brother who lives near Grundy Center frequently can't believe that it's 20 degrees colder here a lot of the time in the winter. Topped out at 37 today. Still ~ 31 when we came in from the barn a few minutes ago. Another set of newbies ahead of the storm. We'll burn thru some bedding the next several days but we didn't buy it to decorate with. Got the snow blower on. Skidsteer's ready. Done what I can to get ready.

Not a thing wrong with taking the tractor with chains on to town if you need to.   Mayhaps the wife would take one for the team if you got it running for her.   We ended up with maybe 4" of light fluffly stuff.  Just enough so I get to plow after our Dentist thing tomorrow. Road will be terrible.

Mornin all, 19 here in DM & they'll hit the low 40's before this day is over. It's almost a noon appt at the Wolfe Clinic today but we'll checkout & head there ~10:30. They seem pretty good about gettin people in early most of the time. It's close to 2 hours back to Clear Lake/Mason City, so I hope to be back close to home by mid-afternoon. 'Bout it here, have a good 1.

Morning boys.  Yup I am up and at em.   So I woke up and my feet were in the air.  Must have rolled on the remote.  Slept great though.  Nice bed.  So nice to raise my head some.  -18 here now.  This is the last week of this crap.  And yes we are another day closer to spring.  Hurry up will ya?  Like I said Dentist appt this morning.  Usually stop for a bite somewhere but with this cold may just head home.  We shall see what the wife wants to to.

-4 in International Falls right now. Pretty good sunshine coming in the windows. Plow has gone by so I suppose I can plow the driveway anytime. One nice thing about living on the truck route, they plow the road at 5 am so all those log trucks can get to the paper company.

Mornin' comrades! 5 above at choretime heading for a high in the low 20's. Round 1 snow likely starting later afternoon. Set of twins born last nite doing well. Got another ewe lambing this a.m. if she stops stuffing herself with hay long enough for it to happen. Looked like a front foot showing on her backside so will be monitoring her periodically. She doesn't appear to be in a hurry & neither am I. Have copy deadline to make this a.m. so need to focus on proofing, spelling, editing, etc., then see where we're at. Stay safe everyone!

Got my driveway plowed although I could have just left it. Kinda doubtful we get much more in the great city of International Falls. Weather on TV says Duluth still might get wacked. Thats ok.   :archery:

Fishing has not been to bad this winter.  I have found slush in a lot of lakes here and there.   Been a good year to give the snowmobile a good workout.

The dead guy....yeah I heard that as well.  I have not paid much attention to details.
