You have the blanket or towel over the trap before you set it.  Then  you walk up slowly and flip it over the entryway. OR send a friend to flip it over the entryway. LOL  Then you deal with the dangerous to your pets critter in the trap. Use your own imagination.

Had a good time at archery yesterday. Just got done with the morning cat fight here. Daughters' girl cat and our boy cat. Tied, two falls each. The girl cat doesn't like the orange one and these are a fight and not what you think glenn. Did 78 miles yesterday on snowmobiles, today's run is measured out at 108 miles. Miltona to Eagle Bend, Wadena and back thur Parkers. Time to finish coffee and load the sled. later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys. 16 here and heading for mid 30s today. Just got my phone figured out a bit ago. I have had no 4g since yesterday afternoon on the way home. Couldn't get no internet. Somehow the mobile data got turned off.  Glad that's all it was. Really didn't want to buy another phone. Had fun at the gun show. Not much of a selection as I thought there would be. But I did buy a new Bersa thunder 22lr for $300. I have been looking for a 22 pistol so that worked out well. Out fishing this morning and have not had a bite yet. Not good. Oh well, have a good one boys.
Hey look your bobber is up!

Mornin' comrades! 27 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-30's.
Chores done, coffee made & sweet rolls in the oven. More lambs to tag, dock & vax on the slate today. Will be moving more ewes & lambs to the main barn later today which will help cut down on chores. Got a new 4-H kid who is very interested & wants to help. Parents & grandparents are hardworking folks Last fall when they were here getting apples, pears & veggies, they were fascinated with the sheep. No luck on the skunk overnite after settingthe live trap. Ya I've heard about the blanket trick but I'd rather just put the trap where I can blast the varmint from about 20 yards with some #6 shot from the 20 ga. Wasted lotsa skunks over the years that way. Coons & possums are less problematic.

Agreed. We're supposed to get a rain/snow mix with < 1/2" of snow here. More rain & less snow to our south. Oh well, at least it's supposed to be breezy.

Yup, we were both up early, took a couple looks at the weather so we started to pull the plug at 4:15, & were headed down the drive ~ an hour later. We were back on 35 near Bobber's neighborhood by 9:30, & in Mason City around 11:30. Some early lunch & back here before 1. Got just south of Dotch, I 90, & the only snow to be found was in the ditches along with the fencelines. Sis said they had a bunch of rain last week 1 day so that wasn't real surprising. Rain starting ~ 6 tonight here.
