Afternoon comrades! LP truck was here earlier while the ground was still froze. Was a little surprised to see him. Not all that long ago the tank was still at 40%. Oh well, price is cheaper, $1.79 with discount. Feed arrived about 3:30 when the ground was thawed. Left some nasty ruts but he managed to get in and out of the yard without getting stuck. I somehow got the wagon backed into the shed again through the slop. Thankfully I'd put a bunch of 1 1/4" crushed rock down way back so there's a bottom right in front of the door. Could use gravity to back it down the hill but with a little 330 Mustang hooked onto a 150 bu. of cracked corn on top of mud, ice, and snow, it was a little like the tail wagging the dog. Just point the wagon in the right direction, hang on, use yer momentum and hope for the best. I did and made 'er! What bunch of sloppy wet muddy crap though. Will take a while to level that mess out. At least I could leave the blower hooked onto the tractor. Should have the yard cleaned up nice by the time the wrens arrive.  :happy1:

Morning boys. 24 here and heading for 33 today. I would say we got about 3" of snow yesterday. We landed back in Warroad about 6:30 last night. It was a successful trip. We will be adding the new 3D printer to the budget for 2024. One of the Marvin's flew back with us and she thought we should get it this year.  :happy1: But, she doesn't control the purse string. Oh well. Getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Need to get some hats and tee-shirts packed up today and in a SpeedDee truck today. Still need names and addresses from Deadeye and Boar. Mike, give me a call if you're driving by or a date and time I can meet you for HH on the North end of the lake. Which reminds me a Beer-runn is on tap for this afternoon too. Later,,,,, :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin gents, 33 here & goin for 35. We had a few flurries mid-afternoon into the early evening yday but they didn't amount to much. No snow here yet & I'm seein ~ 10:00 for the start of it. Now, I'm seeing 3" in the next 48 hrs on 1 page & 5-7" on the WSWarning page. The local stations are saying 3 pm-9 as the likeliest time for the heaviest snowfall. Guess we'll find out soon enough. Got a little running to do early but that's about it. Be safe & have a good day.

Morning boys.  29 at the moment.  I will plow the 3-4" we got yesterday.  The ground is froze so should be no problem.  Cloudy day here.  Not much wind.  Close to the weekend.  Actually Friday for us. We have eye appts. tomorrow.  Hate that when they dilate the eyes though.  Wish they had eye drops to end it when they are done.  May bring a Papa Murphy's pizza home with us. Have a good one.

Mornin' comrades! 32 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-30's. Soil surface is semi-frozen again so it's less muddy than it was. About .8" of snow at the ranch yesterday & last night. Melted out to .1" of liquid equivalent precip when this morning's graupel was included. Some bookwork at the office on tap, a trip to the bank & the PO, likely with another package containing unknown contents for glenn. Wifey has therapy at 10 so I better get crackin' or at least make it look good until the winter storm shows up here in the People's Republic of Steele Co. Hafta hook Poppy up to the dogsled so I can make it to town.  :coffee:

afternoon fellers.....another day in. guess i'm going in saturday morning to unload truck one guy not gonna be there.

JB......i chuckled this morning at your budget/ purse string comment. all the years i was involved in the Union, i got to hear all the stories about the "Budget" for each dept in a company.  sometimes it just made no sense.

kinda whats going on at the store right now. the meat depts  meat mixer went down and they wont replace it. i brought it up at the little meeting they have on mondays, they said with butchers on the decline they see that as a thing of the past. i told them so, what your saying is i need to go elsewhere to get some of my meat, and i guess i'd get my get my other food there also. he shrugged his shoulders! :doah: but hey they didnt fire me!!!!!! :rotflmao:

i'd bet is one of then dipsticks in the officew that makes that decision, his puter went down he'd get a new one????? :doofus:

Also ended up walking out with the new Ion alpha 10". He gave me a heck of a deal. Also got a lithium battery for my Marcums too. Well 1 more day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Morning boys.  Quite a project Scenic.  Will be great when it is done.  It is 25 here now.  Headed for about 33.  We will be on our way to the Eye Dr. soon.  Got a skiff of snow last night.  Hope it stays cloudy so my dilated eyes can get us home a little easier. We will both be in that condition.   Have a good one boys.

Good morning all.  Kinda misty, sleety, snow coming down here at the moment.  It don't matter as I am shop bound for the day.   Have a boat to get done and another project right behind it.

Looks like almost an inch of snow in my driveway. I'll mop that up with the truck after coffee. I did get seven packages in the mail yesterday so I predict a white truck in your driveways soon. Going to try to get welding bench done today, unless someone decides I need to do something else which seems to be the norm around here lately. Later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' comrades! 25 at choretime heading for a high in the low 30's. About 5" of snow measured on top of where there was snow previously, about 3" where it was bare before it snowed. Still melting it out but appears to be some wet crud again. Stinks around here. Put the skunk I shot last nite in a feed sack & tossed it in the dumpster. Wind is from the north so can smell it wafting towards the house. May have to relocate him to the brush pile so the neighbors can enjoy it. In the barn, he probably shot his wad on the cat food sacks stacked in the corner when he expired. Will need to take the pitchfork, haul them out & burn 'em to see if that helps. Was lucky I had my gun loaded and ready to go. If I would've had to dink around, unlock the gun cabinet and/or any other locks the dummies want us to install, load it, and get back to the barn to shoot the bastage, he could've easily have been gone. I can put up with the smell as long as I know the SOB is dead.

Cleaned most of the snow off the driveway. It had drifted a little. I had to be extra careful not to gouge the soft ground.
The snow had that bluish tint to it typical of a moisture laden March snow.
Spring is right around the corner!

Was kinda fun to peel around the yard in the Gator this a.m. Dumped some more corn out for the pheasants. Can get out with my 4wd pickup to get feed & groceries tomorrow. Think I'll wait until then to move snow so I can whine about how much is in my yard!  :rotflmao:
