Headed to Cambridge to pick up 75 bags of beans and corn for food plots. Going to be too muddy to do anything outside today. Maybe sit in in garage and watch snow melt and drink a beer (make some more of that yellow snow). Make a coffee to go and I'm out of here. Later.....

Morning boys.  19 here headed for 50.  My fish house is still in a snowbank on the edge of the river.  I better see if I can drag it a little further up on shore today.  One heck of a Twins game yesterday huh?  Now the question of the day is:  Did Tiger make the cut.  Wasn't looking real promising for him but he was right on the edge.  He does have a noticeable limp too.  That is a long walk every day.  Kudos for him for trying.  Well need another coffee before breakfast then "we" will go check the fish house.  LOLOL  Oh ya there is an amateur that made the cut.  Actually he is in third place.  Bennet is his name.  That is cool as heck.

  Already raining in Augusta & 'sposed to get worse by ~ noon. They'll probably have to finish on Monday now as most of the field has 45+ holes to play.

Mornin' comrades! 38 at choretime heading for a high in the low 60's. Stayed above freezing overnite for the 1st time in a while so that should help get the remaining snow out of here. That would include the stuff that's still on top of my fence out in the grove! I did get the additional enclosure erected and plopped another bale in the feeders for the ewes with lambs. Hay coming today sometime so getting mentally prepared for that. Cash grain farmers are already getting stupid with the nice forecast. Am sure someone will do something they shouldn't then wonder all year why it was screwed up even though "they did everything right". Growing corn and soybeans isn't that difficult unless you make it that way. This is why retirement needs to happen sooner than later.

morning fellers........... yep gonna be a nice day to be outside again!!!!!! thinkin a may tackle putting the new belts on the snowblower today. noticed my wear plates on the blower are shot.....gonna weld a new piece on also. put the ice auger away for the summer too!!!!!!

lookin forward also to gopher hockey tonight. may even tap into those Mickey bottles of beer!!!!!!!!!

Morning boys. 20 here and heading to close to 50. Slept in this morning. Having some unleaded coffee right now. Finished taxes yesterday and then cried. Lol. Cut some firewood and loaded the woodshed. Then I finally fixed the box spring on our bed. A piece of wood on the bottom had broke. I rebuilt it to last another 30 years now. Then I went out fishing in the evening. Went to one of my late season spots and didn't get a bite. Fishing will be a the agenda for today. Have a good one boys.

Hallelujah brothers.  "we" went down to try to get the fish house further up on shore.  Then the wife showed up to help and it was a we.  I have skis for it so we put the skis on and the Grizzly couldn't quite get it up the 2' incline.  The snow on top is really sugar sandy.  SO it is 2' of snow all the way down there but it is packed pretty good from the sled and the Grizzly so I drove the Ranger right down to our area.  No problem.   We hooked the 3500 lb winch to the Grizzly.  Then I used the remote and kept it going and just kept the tracks turning on the Griz and we pulled the fish house right to where I wanted it.  Then drove the Ranger right back up the hill to home and it made it just great.  I really like that rig.  We were both all smiles when we got back up top.  I said see honey we need all of this "stuff".  SO far this is all we need.  ???  And darn, we both forgot our phones so didn't get any pics.

Ah, no. I have enough other things to lose money on, that are a lot less work and that I actually enjoy! Speaking of that, my Studebaker mechanic came over with the hay. He unloaded it & I stacked it. Now I can put all the crap away I had to move so we could unload it. Then I can get back to pruning apple & pear trees. Should put the charger on the Silver Hawk to see if it commences tomorrow. I'm going to lock the front seat in the up position so Mrs. Cheviot doesn't flip it down and try to have her way with me. Grilling lamburgers tonite so I don't trust her...

I don't blame you one bit Dotch! Thank God the whipper snapper will be here for steaks tonight.  Although tomorrow the wife's sis will be here for ham on the smoker,  I best train the dogs to attack if I ain't looking..
