Morning boys.  Nice morning but wind from the east.  Hence the rain moving in.  Tomorrow and Sunday look pretty wet.  I got the splitter going yesterday.  Started on the 2nd pull.  Just got back from getting my blood work done for my annual checkup in a couple of weeks.  I wore my new shoes and man are they tight.  I need to find someone to break them in for me.  The wife has small feet so that won't work.  Gonna have a bite to eat and then cut and split some more wood.  TGIF.

mornin all, 46 here and going for 59 today...  what a nice day yesterday!!!   got the yard picked up from dead branches and pine cones..  good fire starters they are!!  buddy came over and looked at the snow blower, the lock for the break had broke, he figured it out and got that working tight again...  then it was time for a couple cold beers out there...  was great..  no fire this time...  then grilled a sirloin for supper...   perfect medium...   have a good day all!!

Mornin boys, 47 here & shootin for 58. Kind of damp here already too. We took our little tiller to a guy up the road to look at. Then went & got some tomato plants. Had a pretty big branch off the big pine out front that the wind had broken off, so cut that up & hauled that away. I'll be starting with giving the new seed a drink again today & go from there. No more now, have a good 1.

Morning boys.  That sounds great Mike.  I like mine more medium now too.  Medium rare has turned into rare in most steak houses these days.  The dogs got me up so we are all having coffee now.  Cloudy and 48 here with a breeze.  I just told the wife that either I put on my chest waders or she just takes one for the team and wades out to the floater.  I said then I will tell you what to do.  The fun part being me telling you what to do.  She almost spit coffee out and said well that's not going to happen.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :happy1:  So if we put the dock in today she will be there to give me moral support.  Lots of birds here today.  One was a white throated sparrow.  Beautiful bird.  Was a little too windy for us to have a fire last night so just stayed in and put on some tunes and rocked out.  May try to have a fire again today.  Well stay out of trouble youse guys.

Morning boys. 36 here and heading for mid 50s. Not sure if we will make that here though. The wind is coming off of the big ice cube and it is cloudy. The ice is looking mighty gray today. Thought about a fire last night, but we hoped in the Ranger and went for a tootle around in the state land. A couple of miller lites were harmed in the process. Then when we got home I grilled a couple top sirloins. Wife's was medium and I still like mine medium rare. Boy were they tasty. Need to change oil in the truck today and do some work on my blazer. I won't get coils for the traverse until Monday. So that is in limbo for now. Have a good one boys.

Mornin' comrades! 59 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 60's. .59" of rain in the past 24 hrs. at the ranch. Bugtussle got more but haven't been to town yet to read that gauge. There was ~1.5" in the gauge at 5:30 yesterday afternoon and it was still pouring. Knocked power out in town so had to help the seed dealer hoisted me up on a pallet to get the overhead door closed. Need to mail a letter so will be heading that direction shortly so I can read that gauge then. After I get done dealing with this attention starved Corgi of course. Be a good short trip to take her along. Once I get back I need to put a bale in the lot again & see what kind of trouble I can get into. Likely rain this afternoon and we're supposed to go out to eat tonight. Best get at it. No rest for the wicked.

Hmm. Forgot about that discussion. Guess when he said he would step out, it meant from that discussion. Not completely. Unfortunate it is.

Morning boys.  I lost the stay in bed late thing today so I have coffee brewing dogs are fed.  The deck is wet.  I just went down in the basement and found the rain gauge so it is now installed.  We did get the dock in yesterday.  I usually use a come along to raise and lower it.  I found a better mouse trap.  Tommy Docks TD-10072.  It is a boat winch that sits right on the dock poles and has a hook that you use to lift and lower the dock.  Looks great.  Was going to make one but it is only $58 with free shipping so should be here in a few days.  Check it out if you have a dock.  Looks like rain on and off all day so that limits the fun I can get into.  Thinking steak on the grill later on but that is subject to change too.  The brats were a big hit last night.  We were able to sit on the deck at HH with a jacket on yesterday evening.

Morning boys. 37 here and kinda drippy and foggy. Supposed to get to 48 today. Hasn't been terribly windy but the breeze is coming off of the big ice cube. So we didn't make 50 yesterday. It will be more garage projects today. Going to put a venny roast in the crockpot for supper. Have a good one boys.

Been raining since about 6 last night here but the hourly says it's going to stop in the next few minutes. More coming by mid-afternoon though. No gauges here..........yet, so I'll stop over next door to see what his says. A paper run & get our gauges up are on my list. 'Bout it here, have a good day.
