Morning boys.  I have my annual checkup this morning at the clinic.  After that I will be adjusting the dock.  As of last night I would have had to walk through water just to get to the dock.  Was surprised to see all of the islands underwater on our way to the Falls yesterday.  That along with the rains the last few days around us are really going to raise the river.  It is all coming this way.  No rest for the wicked I guess.  I want to get the boat in too but will wait a day to see what is going on with the river.  Rain expected on Fri and Sat too.

Good luck today JB. Hope to get tires rotated this morning and then head to the kid's cabin on Leech by noon or shortly after. I did get enough done around here yesterday that I won't feel guilty at all to sit in a boat this weekend. Brought my tape measure along too......and a pair of GLASSES. Right glenn. Got to get my truck to the neighbor, later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' comrades! 59 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 70's. 2.38" of rain at the ranch & 3" in Bugtussle. Still raining. Puts Bugtussle over 6" for May with only a paltry 3.5" at the ranch. Water over some area roads. Might have to find an alternative route home myself the rate it's going. Looks like it might be outta here by lunchtime altho it's had a nasty habit of building off to the west and keeps on coming. Car club meeting tonite. More fun and games with the over 80 crowd. Too wet to mow for a while. Won't take long once I'm ready. Parts of the lawn are taking their sweet time coming around. Rain should help even it out so I get my money's worth. Good luck today jb! And to you Mrs. too. No fun for either of you. 🤔

Nws says some in your area had over 5 inches. You always get all the gully washers.

I've heard some of that too but not sure just who got it or where. It's real variable. Looked like there was another .6" in the gauge here in Bugtussle before I got the mail. I know there are some township roads where they've hauled out some barricades and cones to discourage people from doing something they shouldn't. Curious to see if the water made it over the road by the golf course...

Took a backroads road trip to Bugtussle proper. You really did get some water over there. I hadn't been there since my mom passed nearly a year ago. Looks like the water is dang close to running in the Care Center. I hope things don't get worse.

Ya it's a mess although I haven't heard of any plans to evacuate the care center, yet. The local repair shop has water running & standing on the east side of it. I see the guy with the repairable automobile place has moved most of his vehicles. Not sure where. Sometimes they wind up at our office.

Good morning all.  56 heading for 70 today.    Helping a neighbor with his dock rebuild and then going to drop my boat in the lake for the weekend.  Plan is to fish at some point this weekend if the weather holds but it sounds like rain.  I live up here and don't need to fish in the rain unless I want to.

Morning boys.  Well I raised the dock yesterday and pulled the floater in quite a ways.  The water came up overnight so is across what used to be land now.  It may keep coming up too.  I got the boat in and that feels great to have it in the water.  Looks like our rain chances are going down which is ok with me.  We may sleep in the camper tonight and have a fire since the rain may not be an issue now.  Good to hear things are healing for the both of you JB.

Mornin boys, 58 here & they're sayin 78 will be our high again today. Pretty sure they missed it a little yday though as we had 81 by ~ 2. I had to break out the shorts & t-shirt by mid-afternoon & it felt good. Got some of my new seed starting to pop, so I'll be keeping a close eye on that the next few days. Sis & BIL started down the driveway around 7, so it's back to just the 2 of us. Hung the bumpers on the dock yday as our boat will probably see the water today too. A few other things in mind for today but it'll probably slow down a little for us now. 'Bout it here, have a good 1.

Mornin' comrades! 64 at choretime heading for a high in the low 70's. .31" of rain the past 24 hrs. at the ranch & .68" in north metro Bugtussle. More light rain on tap today with heavier rain possible for tomorrow. Got thru the car club meeting relatively unscathed. The geezers were on their best behavior so it went better than anticipated. Water is going down so that's a plus too. Have been under the weather the past couple days. Makes me feel like glenn, wanting to nap all the time. Might have to do that later this afternoon. Glad to hear you're home jb! Hope they gave you some good pain pills. Expect Barry will give you the stool softener speech soon.

Afternoon peoples,  74 and feels like it could rain. Put the boat in this morning and it fired right up, can't believe the water temp is already 63°. Rounded up a good pile of minners so we're set. Yard is all mulched now I spose better check my fishin gear and rig everything up. Best run....See ya!!
