Thanks. It is a slow process. The doc said it is a marathon and not a Sprint. Need to keep telling myself that. At least the pain has gone down considerably.

Left home yesterday at 7:30 am with trailer and wheeler on it. Drop that off at Emmaville and headed up to Bemidji to watch Alex high school team shoot there. They had a 15 team, one day, invite tournament. After that went back to Emmaville loaded an old boat trailer on it and headed home. Arrival time was 9:50 pm. Long day for someone not used to it anymore. Kids shot well, ice cream was great. Appears I may have to cut grass today, tomorrow for sure. Got to go, later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' comrades! 54 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 70's. Gorgeous day on tap. Even the black flies seem to have toned it down a tad. Need to unload & stack hay yet. Should go work on the fence at the neighbor's but that sounds like work. Playing with Poppy & taking a nap sounds more fun. Finally shaved the underbrush off last nite. Was starting to get too warm especially for some of the more physical outdoor activities.

We tuned into that sometimes too.  Just had the biggest sturgy I have hooked on.  Cooper was locked in on it.  Surfaced about 30 feet from the boat and was as big as Cooper.  Finally broke my 8 lb test line.  I was really horsing it by that time so he wouldn't spool me.  Pretty fun tough.  I wanted to enter it in the panfish category.

Good morning all.  Looks to be a nice day here today again.  Need to change a couple batteries in the boat that are just not holding like they should.  Spent most of the weekend doing yard work and planting.  Might take some time to chase a crappie this evening.

Morning boys.  46 here and headed for about 85.  SO a jacket is order this morning.  The big day is here.  Bringing the wife down to the Big City for her Kapernoscopy this morning.  I am starving just thinking of how hungry she must be.  LOL   We will be having a nice lunch somewhere down there today.  That Simonsons gas station/best car wash ever, has a nice lunch room inside.  Great sandwiches etc.  May go there or Perkins.  May bring a Papas pizza home with us.  Cooper is wondering what I am doing up so early.  LOL  Well a little more coffee and off we go.  Later Boys.

Lookin like it might be a rinse/repeat kind of day to me again today. Might have to take a minute & enjoy the start of our ALMOST squeak- free week too. ;)  'Bout it here, have a great day.

Well the grass is going to have to wait until tomorrow. We're need to shoot this month's league sporting clays and golf today. I'll have to unload the trailer after that. Didn't get that done yesterday. Later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' comrades! 55 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 70's. Monday sux, especially after farmers have had all weekend to dream up problems, real or imagined, at least those they didn't pester me about over the weekend.  At least my spring cold seems better this morning. Had this crud for 10 days now so it's time. Wife didn't have to work so she could stay home with Poppy today. Poppy was wound tight as a tick so she'll have her hands full. Well, best tear into it. Safe travels all!  :happy1:

Got our travels completed. Ate at Perkins.  Yes JB I like going there.  A hot meal and all ready when you get there.  BUT it is closed on Mondays.  Our last 2 times were on Mondays.   Got some mowing done when we got back so will finish that tomorrow.  Right now I am having a big glass of ice tea on ice.  Pretty darn good too. Loving the new mower.  Went up a grade last year and the new one seems a little heavier and the wheels are bigger.  The controls are nicer and has a bigger gas tank with a nice gauge too.  Anything to keep up the interest all summer.

PS:  We did pick up a Papa's Favorite.  Family size thin crust.  I asked if they could throw some extra cheese and she said no problem.  I like that place. Next I am going to ask for extra sauce too.  If it cost a buck more for it big deal.  Trying to find just the right combo.  I wish they used raw sausage on them.  I like a little grease.  Could add ground pork to it at home.  I'm doing that the next time.

just be careful so that it's cooked properly!!!   pizza's are generally made of fully cooked products for the reason....   ya want grease, add pepperoni!!!   lots of it!!!

It's funny how most I know love the chicken at pizza ranch..  Afternoon peoples 80 here yet, truck is packed and the pooch is watching my every move, little does he know I still need to put in at least a 9 hour shift tomorrow before we head out. Not digging the big winds there yapping about the next few days but we'll wet a line anyhow.  Anywho,  see ya on the flip side sometime tomorrow.  :happy1:

If I have a little of their pizza, I have to slather it in their marinara sauce, it's better IMO then.

Good morning all.  60 here this morning with a chance for a quick rain shower this morning.
Three batches of Jerky going in the smoker this morning while I am working.  It has been vacuum sealed in liquid brine for 36 hours.
Trying to cram a week of work into three days.  Then need to package up the smoked fish from yesterday.

Morning boys. 55 here snd heading for 65 today. 65 was the high here yesterday. It will be interesting to see how warm LPS got yesterday. The wife just left for work. I ended up sleeping in bed last night. Needed to be in a different position I guess. Just couldn't take the recliner anymore last night. Have up at midnight and tried sitting up in bed. Got 5 hours of sleep anyway. Think that will be the plan again tonight. I have my post op doc appointment at 11 tomorrow in GRand Forks. So at least I will get out and about for the day. About it from here. Have a good one boys.
