Morning boys.  63 cloudy and windy here.  Hard to believe but they are saying 84 today and tomorrow.  Some chance of rain here and my barometer is saying rain too.  We shall see.  May we have a lot of leaves on the ground.  I need to mow in spots by the house where it gets longest.  Tomorrow.   :sleazy:  Got the shower door caulked yesterday.  Will see how it worked today.  Watching the Vikes win today.  That will be fun.  LOL   Got to go.  Later.

I just about had a fire but didn't get around to it.  The wife comes home today so time to clean up the house some.  Haven't made the bed since she has been gone.  Looks like a tangled mess with Cooper, Jake, Bob and me rolling around in it.  The wife will have to fight for her spot back.  LOL  I never did grill the 20 oz NY Strip as I decided to have it tonight with the wife.  I have it all spiced up and ready for action.  Well see ya later, have a great day.

My daughter in law was all set to run in the marathon. I would have thought they could have cancelled the event sooner since they knew a few days ago it was going to be warm. Lots of people trained, traveled, had hotel expense only to have it canceled at the last minute.

Morning boys. Good luck Mike!!! Hope all goes well. 71 here to start and heading into the 80s again today. We seen 93 down in Grand Forks yesterday. It was a warm one. We got home about 7:30 last night. So no getting washer and dryer setup last night. So did a load of laundry and hung it out to dry since it is going to be warm again today. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.
Hey look your bobber is up!

No issues with power here, did have lightening and thunder too. Going to clean out truck today from Saturday's run to Hubbard Co. Got one stand up in a new place for us, hope it works out, some lumber cut up and ready for another and a second ring of concrete block around fire pit. I plan on spending some time in both of these stands. Later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin boys, 68 when I went for the dock here & I'm seein 84 for the high. Really nice out on the bay this AM but the :fish2: didn't want to play very bad. I did have 3 but they went back when I got to the dock. Lots of those Asian beetles here too, but I didn't notice that many boxelders. Gave my seeded areas a drink yday & even mowed a couple of the longest spots too. More of that to be done today as well. Hopin the electricians are back to finish hooking up the new shed today. They were waiting on a breaker box to come in on Thursday. No more now, have a good 1.                  Good luck, mike!!!

Morning boys.  My first post wouldn't work so will try it again.  No fish when I tried Sat and no shiners as I said already.  A buddy of mine was fishing by us yesterday and didn't even have a bite.  May be some shiners showing up soon.  Sure hope so.  I may mow some today as it is long in spots.  We shall see.  The wife is home with me today so she may burn up some brush that I cut the other day.  May even go fishing this afternoon.

Mornin' comrades! 62 at choretime heading for a high in the upper 80's. Made it back from the fall cruise to Black River Falls in good shape. Was my buddy's turn to drive so we did it in style with his chopped '38 Chevy with a 350 in it. Was warm tho. No AC and the hood vent is non-operational. He's got the AC on it, just not hooked up yet. Oh well, good time anyway. Ate lots of good food, saw some interesting stuff, & saw some things that make you go hmmmm. Saw MN's last covered bridge in Zumbrota. Came out of the casino yesterday morning to wipe the dew off the car. Noticed a bunch of what looked like weathered cigarette butts that someone had deposited overnite in front of another guy's SS. Looking closer, appeared to be a whole bunch of duck or goose crap. Mentioned it to the hotel staff in the casino and they laughed, said they've had a roving band of guineas on the loose in the area. Been trying to catch them but they've been unsuccessful. Looked at some of the feathers left behind when we went back out. Sure enough, they were guinea feathers. Good luck mikey!
