You'll hafta take a pic for us Glenn,  you seeding it? Afternoon peoples 80 and the atmosphere is juicey this away,  went out dragging deep running cranks this morning and got nuttin,  decided to go shallow with a weedless Johnson spoon tipped with a white mister twister tail and the little snot rockets couldn't resist. Caught 5 and missed several others, but everything got let free. Maisy keeps impressing me, her dock jumping she's really trying to out jump the older dogs, coming close but that'll come. With knowing that the collar means business she's been playing by the rules, except for the Cat, she just can't leave her alone. Broke out a frozen pigeon earlier and she went bonkers, had her heel while I chucked it in some shin high grass, although I shoulda had the .22 with, next time. Think tomorrow I'll drag it around and let her search for it in the woods. Gotta go, can Cooley is empty....See ya!!!

Good morning!   Looks like the rain might be done for today now.  Not supposed to be all that warm today. I think we got right around 5".  The lake came up nice.   Going to work in the shop today and see what kind of trouble projects I can get into.   Have a great day!!

Morning boys. 51 here and supposed to make 68 today. We got a little rain this morning. .06" . The lake is still ruff. The dock moved about 6 feet out at the end and about 3 feet on the shore end. Taking care of that will be a weekend project. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Morning boys.  It rained like heck in Bemidji whilst we were there yesterday.  On the way home they kept talking about the bad weather by Deer River and I hoped Gunner was ok.  They said if you are in a trailer to move to a better place.  We got about 1 1/2" in this last round.  Think I dumped 1/2" before that.  Will have to keep an eye on the dock now.  Have a good one.

Lenny and I need to go to town to fill up the truck with gas this morning, after that probably work on the boat some more. Alex kids are going to the state shoot in Prior Lake on Friday, hope they do well. For all that are interested and near-by, Mike Wiener who is a state rep. from district 5B and Judy Anderson from Guns Galore will be giving a presentation on current and upcoming Second Amendment laws at the community center in Osakis at 6:00 PM on Thursday. Got to go, later.....  :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin gang, 51 for our start & hopin to see 70. Kind of breezy already too. Hard to see even with my wipers on high between DR & Cohasset yday ~ 8:30 as it was already pouring. Rained pretty good comin back out here as well. Too wet for much of anything outside this morning, so I'll have to find a garage or shed project. No more now, have a good day.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 60 at choretime heading for a high in the low 70's. .27" of precip overnite at the ranch with .28" falling in Bugtussle. Still too wet to do anything other than drive around and look at standing water from the road. Stick & branch pick up detail likely tonite. That way when it rains again tomorrow, Friday & Saturday, it'll dump another crop of sticks and branches before I can get the lawn mowed. Should head to the meat market today sometime to get something to create leftovers. Think my gin supply will hold. Hope so. Need to get mentally prepared to babysit the octogenarians again tomorrow. That wears me out. 😴

Did you get one of those things on wheels Mike?  I was going to ask Gunner about it too.  I thought he mentioned it before.  I have been thinking about it.  How do you get it in and out of the truck when you fill it?

I seen that also Glenn coming out last Friday,  some fields looked good where others not so much. As always evening peoples 68 and gorgeous,  should probably take momma and the pooches fer a stroll around the lake. The whipper snapper,  kitty cat and the golden retriever left for home a little but ago, so Maisy can finally lay down ..lol. Not sure when we'll head back still have some minners and leeches to use up, so I'll probably do my best in the morning on feeding the fish, I mean sheepies.  I do feel bad for the whipper snapper,  she was banking on some lake time, rain every day sank that ship...

Seeing how I did nothing yesterday I need to reset and get it all done today plus today's projects. Send off for the trap kids at 11:00 this morning. Escort for them is compliments of AFD and APD. Also need to get ready to go to Bemidji tomorrow and hopefully shoot there. After that head to the kids place on Leech for the weekend. Later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin gents, 52 here & we're headed for 72, I'm hearin. Heard somethin weird down at the lake yday & found the boat close to floating off the lift. The lift was close to all the way up too. So, the lift got pulled in at least 3', probably closer to 4', shallower 1st thing yday. Will be keeping a close eye on the dock the next few days now too. Bet the lake here is up at least 12-14" since we put the dock in in late April. I mowed along the road & out by the new shed yday afternoon too. Probably mow some more today as well. 'Bout it here, have a good day.

Our pump is mounted on a 2-wheel cart, LPS & we just use some old plastic jugs for the gas that my brother got from work. The cart is kind of heavy duty but it's far from an appliance cart too. We painted the jugs red & they are pretty heavy-duty plastic too. We have 3 of those & they hold ~ 6.5-7 gallons each but we normally only put 5.5-6 in 'em, so they're easier to handle when we're going down to the dock.

Mornin forum fellas 58 here and you'll never guess.....it's raining again. Mommas thinking if we get a break pack er up and head back to town, that's fine I gots stuff I can there also. I have 2 different kind of hand held gas pumps,  one real flexible to pull fuel from the snow chuckers and the is probably like what Mike picked up for emptying 5 gall cans, they work great.  Well best start rounding up stuff.....See ya!!
