Morning boys.  33 here and will get to mid 60s.  Will head to town to pay some bills and pick up some supplies.  Yesterday we to wonderful Wally World and got my Dad a new watch.  Then I checked to see if I could get my shots there instead of Thrifty White here in town since we were there.  They did a great job.  I got RSV last year and that is a one time thing so didn't need that.  They did find that I needed my every 10 year tetanus, pneumonia booster, covid, and flu.  Got them no charge.  My left arm hurts from one of them but I think I will make it.  LOL  Man the leaves were colorful.  Not much green except evergreens.  We have a lot of green here at home but it is changing fast.  TGIF.  Have a good one.

Another wedding tomorrow afternoon then I can get some "get ready for Fall" stuff done. I do see a couple of days on the splitter coming up, one last lawn mowing and hopefully a weed spraying before Winter. Along with putting away camper, mowers, golf cart, cleaning garage, etc. Turns out Lenny is gun shy. I had him trap shooting in Bemidji this Spring as a pup and he was fine. Now he'll run for the house at the sight of a shotgun. I have been walking around the yard with him carrying a small 410 and it seems to be helping. We will see, later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin gang, 42 @ 1st peek here & we're headed for 67. We get our shots up here at WM in GR too, LPS. I usually make an appt online though. Although, they do accept walk-ins too. Our new Stihl saw says not to squeeze the throttle. The neighbor has a little different model that he got last year & that's what his dealer told/showed him too. He was having trouble starting his using the throttle 'til he went back to the dealer & he told him differently. It starts good now.  Got a couple little things to get me moving today & I'll go from there. Have a good day.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 38 at choretime heading for a high around 70. Getting mentally prepared for the annual fall car cruise. Actually looking forward to going and exhaling for a day over at Red Wing. Maybe check out glenn's old haunts there altho it conjures up visions of Inger somehow. In the meantime, another action packed day of soil sampling after I finish my coffee, take a dump, pump up a tire & put some diesel in the Gator. Could be a bit before I get going in other words... :coffee:

Morning boys.  It is 49 and windy here.  Should see 68 with partly cloudy here today.  My fishing buddy gave me half a pail of beets so today we are canning pickled beets.  Neither of us have done it but both love them so we are excited about it.  Have our jars ready but need a few more lids. Will do in 5 lb batches which will work good for us. I read an article in the local paper about buckthorn.  You can get a dauber free from the ASCS office to dab the ends of them where you cut them.  He came out yesterday and I gave him a tour of the property and he picked them out like crazy.  Will get the program started later today or tomorrow.  That gallon of Tryclopyr 4 that I bought last year is the stuff to spray the bases of them with so I am ready to attack.   Perfect, another hobby.  Just what I need. LOL  Will be good for me. Gophers don't play till 6:30 I think so we will be ready to sit and watch that ugly game by then.  Vikes being at 8:30 tomorrow we all have already talked about how are we going to deal with that early of a game.  May need more Clamato for that program.  Well I hear the princess stirring so time to get coffee ready.  I hope you all have a great Saturday.

Mornin gents, 51 last I looked here & we should see 67. I worked on my dead wood project some yday. I started the changeover for the white stuff on the new mower yday too. Brother had a birthday on Thursday, so us & the neighbor went up to Fish Tales in Squaw Lake, for a bit yday as well. :toast: Got some clothes out on the line already today & will probably mess with mower to blower switchover a bit next. 'Bout it here, have a great day.

I did split some wood yesterday, more to go. We have to be at the wedding venue at 2:45 today for pictures, wedding at 4:30 beers and eats after that. LPS, buckthorn is easy to spot. It will still have its leaves, and they will still be green long after the rest of the trees and brush lose theirs. Later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Afternoon peoples 77 and clouded up all a sudden.  Was warm this morning at the game farm, Maisy did great, she was all over the birds when they hit the ground. Scooped em up and brought em right back to me, surprisingly tho not many teeth marks on the meat after cleaning.  Remi sure was pissed tho staying home with mom, looking forward to both pooches getting out maybe next weekend,  that's if it's not too warm. Anywho best get the pellet grill fired up....See ya!!!

Fender vents open & windows half mast. Putzed our way to Red Wing. Ate at Brewski's in Winona. Got to Treasure Island a out 4:15. Not sure what we're up to tonite other than eating. Not much of a gambler. Got my nap in so prolly eat & watch football. Heading down the river on the Sconny side maƱana.
