That and some bow hunting. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Mornin guys, 32 @ 1st peek here & we're headed towards 60. I don't know LPS, the fire warning here says SSW 10-20 with gusts to 25 this afternoon. A bit shorter trip than normal yday as we were back here before 1. Messed around out in the new shed for a couple hours or so after that. That's probably my starting spot again today. No more now, have a good day.

Gunner the more south the wind is the better for me.  West or NW is a bad thing here on the river.  JB 62 puts you right with Mike.  Would be way too cold for us.  LOL  It's a balmy 71 in our house.

went through the garage and got a bunch of stuff put away for the winter, sprayer, pressure washer, etc. Have just one spot left beside the boat to do. I did call and ordered up a load of pit-run and a load of class 5 to put in front of and on the North side of the garage. Got a small water issue I'd like to take care of. Later...... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 26 at choretime heading for a high around sissty. Supposed to be breezy again today so hope no one starts anything on fire. As dry as it's been, amazing no one has torched a combine yet. More soil sampling altho the pile of maps is getting down there. Hope I'm done battling the alien soon. Coughing up all these lung oysters is starting to get old. Will be heading north to Canada next week. At least the Canucks aren't pulling that random COVID test BS anymore. Feeling like you could be quarantined to shelter in place by the Mounties at any given minute was overrated. Good times... :coffee:

I'd rather pack and unpack my own stuff.

Mornin all, 44 here & we might see 67. We got a call ~ 5:00 Tuesday that the mower was done & with yday's early temps there wasn't much going to get done outside. So, we headed back into L&M to get the Husqvarna. Worked on that some later, the boat trailer had a light issue when we used it to pull the boat & that got fixed too. Probably work on the mower to blower conversion some again today. 'Bout it here, have a good day.

Morning boys.  We have 36 and may see 67 later today.  The wind wasn't too bad yesterday on the river.  We got a few and will do it again today.  Fun friend to fish with so we had a good time.  Gonna be windy again today so I hope it stays south.  That works best here on the river.  I will repark the mower in the shed for winter so the log splitter fits with it.  Always something to do right Gunner?  Sort of keeps us out of trouble.  Looks like rain tomorrow afternoon/evening. Have a good one.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 44 at choretime heading for a high near 70. Breezy with winds 20 - 25 mph,  supposed to gust up to 35. More of the same for tomorrow. The rain that was in the forecast tomorrow went bye - bye, with some meager chances now on Monday & Wednesday. Still soil sampling away & probably will be to some extent until the end of the month. I leave in a week for Canada so that should shorten the duration somewhat. Pitter patter, let's get at 'er!

Oh well, I will get out tomorrow morning. Also need to get some others spots set up for the wife to sit at. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Morning boys.  45 and may get to 51 it looks.  We have a predicted .25" of rain on the way too.  Well I finally realized that I needed to add a bobber to my fish pics.  I may be slow but I got it now.  LOL  SO now I have to keep fishing.  That is a good thing.  Should be 75 possible on Monday.   :happy1:  Then back to the 50's.  Have a good one.

Mornin boys, 53 here early & we're headed for 64. Got the blower on the Husqvarna but we had to put a new belt on it. Glad we had 1 on hand. After all the wind the last few days we had a lot of leaves down along the end of the driveway. So those got a quick mulch job too. There's a wiring harness for the chute controls on the blower that'll be today's 1st project. Probably mess with getting the decking off the dock a little today too. Have a great day.

I did get my two piles of gravel spread out yesterday, looks nice. Need to finish packing and head to deer camp for the weekend. Look at stands, sight in rifles, install a fart fan in the outhouse and do some wheeling tomorrow. Cheeseburgers tonight, chili tomorrow night. Looks like my ditch is getting tore up today and new sewer pipe put in. As much as I'd love to stay and watch them do that the need to go have fun is stronger. Have a great day all, later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 45 at choretime heading for a high in the low to mid-70's. What us this thing called rain some speak of? More severe clear but at least it'll be windy. Just amazing someone hasn't had a combine fire and torched the countryside. Everyone has been running hard for the better part of a month with no stoppage of play. A break would be welcome. Quite a few are done harvest however so now it's a matter of what to do next. The co-ops are pushing people to start putting on anhydrous ammonia. Not sure that's a good idea just yet. Soils are pretty dry and hard in places. The ammonia may not adhere well to the soil particles with the limited moisture in addition to not sealing well. Deep tillage in fields dries them out too so for a lot of folks there's no hurry on that either. Several have commented they're waiting until it rains or at least cools down in November. Few things more dangerous than a bored cash grain farmer.  :coffee:
