Yup it is just plain nasty here too Bobb.  Not as much snow in the air but still windy and getting colder.  9 the last time I looked and -14 windchill.  My long johns are appreciated.

Morning boys. 14 this morning with some light fluffies falling from the sky. Suppose to make 15 today. No work for us today. We are heading down to the crapties. My dad is at Abbot northwestern hospital and having a surgery to try and open up his blood vessels in his legs. He has been in the hospital since Nov 13th with an infection in his leg. So try and visit with him some before his surgery. Then tomorrow the wife has surgery on her right foot in Roseau. Lots of windshield time today. Have a good one boys.

mornin all, 5 here and might see 11 today..  biggest thing is I can't hear the wind...   didn't do much yesterday outside because the wind was so bad...  today we shall see!!  JB safe travels!!  and pray for the best results for both your Dad and your wife!!!  surgery suks..  have a good day all!!

I have about four stops in town today. Also a visitation this afternoon for a former co-worker and friend. 61 is too young. After that pack the truck to head to Grand Rapids tomorrow for a meeting at 4:00 and another one Saturday morning. Later......

Mornin all, 5 here (-14 WC) & we might see 19. The wind has backed off here too, but is still NW @ 17. I thought I was just going to the dentist for a filling yday, but once he got started he didn't like what he found. So, he pulled that tooth & another 1 & I was told I had to take it easy for the rest of the day. So I did. Still, got a little blood so it'll be more of the same today. Yeah, allow yourself some extra time driving & be safe traveling JB. 'Bout it here, have a good day.

      Got down to 3° this morning. Very little outside activity yesterday. I did go help an old farmer work on his kerosene heater. He has to order a new igniter. I was going to loan him one of mine but mine (about the same size) has a bad igniter. It was on my list of summer projects.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 3 for a low, 6 at choretime, heading for a high in the mid-teens. Choretime this time of year reminds me of why I hate winter. Hauling frozen buckets from the small pens across the yard to the garage is overrated. Enough to cause a guy to drink. That VSOP & cocoa last nite hit the spot. Still haven't heard from my tire guy so should rattle his cage again today. Be nice to get that done so I can start hauling poo & put the chains on when it becomes necessary. Sucks putting chains on & taking them off as anyone who's done over the road trucking thru the mountains can attest. Also have a hydraulic leak that needs professional help & a warm place to work on it. The dead spots in the yard where the tractor marks its territory look a little ugly come spring.

morning fellers.........getting ready to put the first batch of venny on the dehydrator for jerky!!!!! gonna cook up a batch of beef soup bone soup for the cabin!!!!! batch 2 of jerky is in the brine for tomorrow. momma bailed on me this morning till tomorrow afternoon!!!! got the Union thug retiree holiday party tomorrow night!!!!

boober........its crazy how different docs operate.....mine doesnt matter when or what part of the day they do the blood draw for blood work. i heard him argue with the tech, its been proven the blood results donr change much weather you've eaten or what you drink!!!!

Morning boys 19 here and supposed to hit 24 today. Warmer tomorrow. We are here in Roseau and the wife is in surgery now to get her foot fixed up. My Dad's surgery went good. His left leg was a 100% blocked the doc said. He put in 5 stints. He had to come in from the right leg on the top half. Then up from his ankle to get thru. But doc said his leg has good blood flow now. So that should help to heal the infection. I guess they still have to remove a toe at a later date that has a bone infection. So that is another step. But all is looking good now. As long as he will put in the effort. We made it home about quarter past 10 last night. Left home about 2:30 in the morning. Long day with lots of windshield time. I think I see a Glenn nap later today possibly.  have a good one boys.
