Truck is full of gas and bag is packed. Also have an old mattress in the back of the truck to drop off at the Henrietta Mall (dump) in Park Rapids on the way by. Got a few bucks at the bank yesterday just in-case I hear pull-tabs calling my name tonight or tomorrow night. I doubt it.
Glenn, you are correct. Our Dec. meeting for MDHA is to go through resolutions and amendments turned in from chapters and the budget for the upcoming year. At 175 miles one way I will stay overnight and head back Sunday AM. I'll tell Alice "hello" for you.
Later.......... :happy1: :happy1:

Sounds like good news JB. Hoping the best for Mrs. too. :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! Was 15 at choretime after warming to 21 overnite, heading for a high in the low 30's. Got news from my tire guy that he'll be at the ranch Monday so will be getting wheel weights, bolts, etc., around in anticipation. Knee will probably protest afterwards but it's gotta get done. Fortunately they're half weights and only weigh 75 lbs. apiece as opposed to the full weights at 142 lbs. Still, when the plan is to put 600 lbs. of them per side on & you drop one on your foot, it's gonna leave a mark. Glad to hear they got yer dad on the right path jb. Hoping they get the Mrs. back in pursuit form so she can chase you around the house again. Best keep at it here. Should get to the license bureau in Waseca sometime today after lunch.

She will be hobbling around on crutches for a bit. She has the next week off of work. Sounds like aajor snow storm coming for us tomorrow thru Tuesday. Hoping that gets some deer moving today. About it here. Have a good one boys.

Morning boys.  We have 32 here and may see 40 with some drizzle possible.  Thinking I will clean things up with the plow.  Have had a skiff of snow the last few days.  Watching Jack Hana in the Everglades whilst having coffee now.  The wife has the Christmas tree ready to put up once I get outside. SO that means I will be going outside.  LOL  Gonna do some grilling today too.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 32 at choretime, heading for a high around fitty. Looking like a dandy day here. Wish I was a little more mobile so I could be outside more but will settle for freezing squash & other putz projects. Should make a grocery run & play with the wheel weights to determine which ones I want to use. Looks like I'm short a few bolts so will have to get those before Monday afternoon. Dunno if climbing a ladder to change a couple light bulbs in the barn is such a good idea. Getting the ladder around & climbing up there might be OK but coming back down, not so much. Good to hear the wife's surgery went well jb. Wishing her a speedy recovery!  :happy1:

Good morning All.  33 here and fog.  Almost feels like a calm before the storm.  Some are saying 1-2", one is saying 3-5" and one is saying just rain.  Either way its going to be icey.   I think it's just a good day to stay close to home and take care of some projects at the house.

Mornin forum fellas,  30 now headin fer 46 they say.  Was a fun day yesterday met up with a couple other gents in gorgeous Kandiyohi county for some rooster chasing.  4 guys n 4 dogs, man were them birds jumpy. Most were up and otta there before we got close, even on some prime private land that we walked.  2 were shot but not by me or the kid, but sure was fun. Remi is moving real slow today and he could be done chasing ( so momma says) ....we'll see. Anywho think maybe I'll get the patio furniture put away to open up the dance floor for snow removal basically hang low today. Best run......See ya!!

Morning boys.  34 here and the wife has the deck all cleaned off.  She is a keeper!  I thought the snow had missed us till I hear you guys this morning so I checked.  Not snowing yet and snow will be ending in 10 hours but they are saying 3-6" of wet heavy snow between now and then.   :angry2:  I will believe it when I see it.  Dotch I hope your body is healing and your tooth too Gunner.  I am achy but better every day.  Well have a good one today.

It was actually 2 molars that came out, LPS. He was just going to put a new filling in 1st tooth but when he got in there he said he thought it should come out. That or a root canal would be needed later on. :doah: The other was supposed to come out in another appt this week but while I was there he took 'em both.

Morning boys. 33 here and supposed to make 34. Slept in this morning. Needs to get some chores done around the house instead of hunting. Looks like the snow is knocking on our door step. Time will tell how much we get. Put all the patio furniture in the garage to dry out yesterday. Need to get that put away today. But for now a little coffee. The neighbors marked a trail on the lake out to 23 fow. I will stick with muzzle loader hunting. Maybe next weekend I will think about bringing a house out. See what the snow does. Have a good one boys.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 30 at choretime, heading for a high in the low to mid-fitties. Picked up a couple bushel of white pine cones yesterday afternoon. It stretched my knee out & felt better. Enough so that I got the push mower out & ground up the leaves under the apple trees. 🍎 Didn't climb the ladder to change light bulbs but will attempt that sometime today. Need to make a FF run to get some monkey piss to loosen up some of the bolts for the rim/weight project tomorrow. Better scoot to squeeze the most out of the day I can.

Morning boys.  We are looking at 28 and like JB said it will drop some all day.  We have a good 5" too it looks.  Still flakes in the air too.  May snow some more this morning.  We will have a high of -2 and -3 on Wed and Thurs. so will be a cold cruel blast.  Plowing is the word for the day.  Deliver some presents to the Post Office too. So will be a busy day.  Well sort of.  LOL  It won't be like a Dotch busy day though.  Will be plenty of time for that nap.  Well be careful moving snow.
