Morning boys. TGIF!!! 7 below here this morning heading for a high of 3 it says. So far so good the wood boiler has been burning good. So in the end it was my own dumbass causing the problem. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

We have 4 above here this morning. I did get the carb off the golf cart yesterday and you can see the bottom of the engine. Don't look good. Guess I'll be taking the motor out to see if it can be freed up during the course of Winter and the rest will go back outside. Got driveway and yard plowed yesterday too. Went well, looks like about 2" of snow here. Have a great day, later....... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys.  Just like JB, we have -7 here with a high of 5.  May plow up the nuisance snows we have had just to clean things up.  We didn't get hardly anything from this last snow.  Curious to see how much you all got.  TGIF today.  LOL

Mornin all, 20 here now & we might get to 21. It snowed most of the day here yday but not very hard. I haven't been out yet but I don't think we got much more than about 1". Had some freezing rain at times yday too, so it was kind of slick even here in town. Get the snow cleaned up, but that's about it here. Have a good day.

Good Morning! Kind of fresh out this fine morning. We must have ended up with close to 4" of snow, most of it coming in the afternoon. Got a few errands to run, one of the main ones is to get a ton of pellets to burn.
Have a good one!

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! Was 15 at choretime & looks like the temp fell to around 8. Has rebounded to closer to 10 presently. Another 1.5" of snow in Bugtussle & ~ 2.2" at the ranch since yesterday morning. .11" of liquid equivalent precip in Bugtussle. Still melting out at home. Didn't mess with cleaning out the yard as it really wasn't bad on the driveway itself. Could've monkeyed around with the skidsteer perhaps but this will probably melt later next week. Some errands & Christmas shopping on the slate today. Good excuse to kill some time & hide from Miss Congeniality. She's been on a tear lately. Can't wait for Christmas to be over.

Mornin boys, presently 0 here & we might see 22. We had a bit more snow, ~2", here yday than I thought & it was a little wet. So, it was a little more work cleaning it up than I thought it would be. Still only took 45 minutes, maybe. Lookin like a football day here, have a great day.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! -3 for an overnite low, 1 above at choretime, heading for a high in the upper teens. Chores done, plugged the tractor in, topped the birdfeeders off & back in the house for some oatmeal. If oats are good for a horse, they gotta be good for a workin' man. And as they say, a fartin' horse never tires, a fartin' man's the man to hire. Should be D-Day for the tractor weights finally. Brother needs the feed in the back of my pickup so he's sorta obligated to at least show up. Will be a relief to get this project done. Have a feeling we may wait until tomorrow to complete it as it's supposed to be warmer.  We'll see. If it goes easier than I think it will, we may get it all done today. Just glad I got all the bolts swapped out on the wheel clamps last weekend. Talked to my neighbor yesterday & he wouldn't have been able to get at the weights for a while anyway. Tractor is basically useless for pulling things around without it, especially in the snow.

Morning boys.  We have a solid 3 here at the moment.  We are looking forward to the NDSU and SDSU game at 11.  We are Jackrabbits fans here but no big deal.  We have family in the Brookings and White area.  Still need to clean up the nuisance snow falls and some drifting that has happened.  I want a clean driveway so Santa finds me.  LOL  Told the wife I may keep my sweats on all day.  We shall see.  Not gonna happen.  Well you all enjoy the day.

Morning boys. 2 above here and heading for 16 today. Was up early and started laundry. Got the wood stove filled and 3rd load of laundry going. Last load too. Inside chores all done. Sipping some coffee for a bit then eat some breakfast. Then start the outside chores. Need to cut wood and load shed. Then I plan to pull my little skid house out on the lake. If I have time maybe even fish this evening. Have a good one boys.

I got the motor out of the golf cart and on the bench. Removed the clutch, put a couple of 5/8" flat washers on the shaft along with the nut, sprayed the inside of the crankcase with Areo-Kriol and two beers later and a little help from a 1/2" drive impact (set at #2 not #4) we have movement. More to come, still unsure if this project is worth it. I MIGHT hang Christmas light today. If I do I know they will be easier to do next year. They aren't coming down again. Later........ :happy1: :happy1:
