Morning boys and Merry Christmas Eve.  We have about 17 here and will warm up nicely to about 29.  We are headed to the Falls this morning to pick up supplies at the Big M and other stops too. Should be a good day for it but there are slippery road warnings with the fog and moisture freezing on the roads.  Will keep it under 70 and should be ok.  Nice pets Mark.  Ours will be left in the house whilst we are gone.  Too cold to lock them outside in the kennels.  Hope we still have a house to come home too.  LOL   They should be ok.  Famous last words.  You all have a good day and stay safe..

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 28 at choretime, heading for a high around the freezing mark. Got thru a whirlwind tour of deliveries yesterday. Were 3 locally & one in Owatonna then I concluded the day with a trip to Albert's Leaf to pick out a Christmas gift for the Mrs. Had done all that over the phone so all I had to do was pick up the already wrapped Christmas gifts. A couple more deliveries around noon & after lunch then it's kick 'er back time. I need some cocktails tonite. Still feeling the aftermath of the tractor weight project. We were only able to get 900 of the 1500 lbs. on the tractor due to differences in the castings. They fit but majority of them must've been an older style & made for 3/4 square head bolts so they won't turn thru. Took us a while to see that & made more work out of it than we'd hoped. Will seek professional help after Christmas for the rest or try to find 16 4" x 3/4" square head bolts. Guessing neighbor Jon will laugh, tack a bead or two on the 3/4" hex head bolts and have them on in about an hour.

Pup has sure grown markn & the kitty looks pretty content. Safe travels to all!

Good morning All and Merry Christmas!!   Looks like we are starting the day out at 28 with dense fog.  Sounds like we are going to see 30 today.  Might have to think about getting the ice fishing stuff ready.  Been so busy here I have not even taken the time to do that yet.  Be safe everyone and have a great day.

Merry Christmas again everyone. Enjoying the quiet for now. House should be full around 1:00. Gave the Mrs. her present last night. A ring with the kids birthstones in it. Made hero status for that one. Hope she likes the ice cube maker Santa gave her last night. Should be nice addition in the camper next Summer. Have a great day everyone, later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Merry Christmas boys and to your families!! 25 here on the 25th heading for 31 here it says. I got the fish house out and fished until about 2:30. Not real fast action, but I caught a few fish. 1 was a 20" walleye. Also had a few keepers for supper tonight. Made homemade pizza last night. Today just plan to hang in the house with the wife. Have a good one boys.
Hey look your bobber is up!

Morning boys.  We have 26 here with a breeze.  No fog but 91% humidity.  Got our shopping done yesterday and had a good time.  Bought some huge bone in ribeyes for $6.99 lb. Man the one we grilled last night was excellent.  Still planning on doing the ham later on.  Merry Christmas to all!  Have a great day!.

Sometimes on holidays or birthdays I buy some lottery tickets for presents.  I spent $40 and only got $10 of winners.  Glad I don't do it for a living.

Merry Christmas fellow gulag comrades! 28 at choretime,  heading for a high around 33. Misty & breezy so it cools ya down faster than the thermometer leads you to believe. Made one delivery this a.m., had my oatmeal & a hunk of Auntie Mar Mar's blueberry coffee cake with a little Hope Creamery butter. Poppy is napping on my thigh so may have to follow suit.. :coffee:

Merry Christmas! Yesterday I got out the old Jiffy ice augers because my son asked if he could use one. As near as I can figure it had been nine years since they had been used. I know I hadn't ice fished since I started working for the evil empire and last year my back injury prevented it. Anyhow, dumped out the old gas and put fresh in. Both of them started and seem to run great. I call that a big win!
