That's funny Glenn!! Evening peoples, presently at 18 in the land of houses and tar.  gotta call the otter day they are running fiber optic into the cabin so I gets to try to tell these guys over the phone where to to dig and not to dig this spring, it will be nice not running hotspots  fer internet anyway. I had to burn my 1st day of vac tomorrow,  going to see the ear doc and looking for options.  They constantly ring, momma wants me to try hearing aids but we'll see. Selective hearing won't come into play anymore....See ya!!

Careful boober. With your grilling prowess, you may be in grave danger. When I was dating a ND gal in college she loved licking me when making out then sticking her tongue in my ear! I almost let her have her way with me. However, my chastity instantly kicked in, saving me for the right girl. I still can't hear though. Too much Led Zeppelin & ZZ Top I thought. Upon hearing your story, perhaps not...

I have the ringing in my ears also. Basically since I was a teenager. Did lots of shooting when I was younger. Plus working in noisy places.

Morning boys.  We have 2 here and may get up all of the way to 5.  That is better than -20.  Ya my ears are just like you guys.  They said I should get hearing aids sooner rather than later.  There is a thing I think called Tru Hearing through Medicare.  They are just getting set up in Warroad.  A friend got hearing aids worth $7,000 for about $1,500 using Tru Hearing.  I haven't made the jump yet.  No big plans for the day but I do need to make a run to the dump.  We keep putting things in the ol Ford so I need to empty it soon.  Well have a good day all of you.

      Good morning campers.
Not much wind and 8° when the hens fled the coop. Looks like we're making a chicken supply run today. A few other errands.
Taking the wife out to lunch. We've been married 48 years today. I have no idea how that woman has put up with me. She must have a halo and wings.
LPS, it has been suggested that I get hearing aids, too. Mine is no surprise since I've almost always worked in high noise areas.
      Stay safe everyone.
I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 6 at choretime heading for a high in the upper teens. It overachieved yesterday here, topping out at 19. With little wind it felt pretty nice. Another single lamb born last nite after chores. They just keep showing up without warning. Tough to see them coming with all the wool on the ewes yet. At least this lamb & ewe got the program figured out quickly & very little intervention was needed other than to fish the Lotzza Mottza out of the pen. Plugged the tractor in this a.m. so I can put a round bale in the lot while it's still light out later this afternoon. Could do it after dark but there's a ram in the group, about 300# worth with an attitude. Still healing from that cheap shot I got from the other one that was about 1/2 that size. Congrats tt & Mrs. tt! Like I always say, seems longer than that...

Congrats TT. We're 2 1/2 years behind you. I did go pick up that enclosed trailer yesterday. It's a little rougher shape than I wanted, but still cheaper than a con-ex container box. Plus I can pull it down the road. So instead of putting stuff into it and then outside so I can work on a project it is the project. Two biggest items are the jack on the hitch, junk, and the fenders, also junk. So they are getting replaced, but first I need to replace some of the sheet metal under the flooring between the frames. I removed one the shelves from inside so if someone needs some nesting boxes for your chickens give me a shout. The price will be right. $0.00. Later....... :happy1: :happy1:

I'm goona get fitted with my hearing aid thingies later this month.  I pulled the trigger when i learned about the possible connection between hearing loss and dimentia.  I don't want to take any chances.  Besides, I'm getting sick of lip reading and not realizing it and not understanding what is said on the TV.

Afternoon peoples the cellular says it's 20 out, doesn't feel bad at all. Congrats TT, that's a good run, and a fine day I might add, hit 56 today. Ya 56 and might need hearing aids, the test didn't go so good in my favor. The right starts out in the normal range, makes it halfway thru the graph and plummets.  The left isn't hardly in the norm and goes south fast. She recommended an MRI, just to make sure there isn't any growth on the nerve , whatever i guess my head could use a good once over...lol. Then we'll talk hearing aids, like Steve-o stated it would be nice to hear, a room full of people talking is tough. Anywho the whipper snapper is here with a low tire, think that's what she said......See ya!!!
